The Hotel Imperial is in Dundalk town centre, close to all the major attractions and shops, bars and restaurants. It has free parking, modern bars and coffee shop.

Breakfast was fab. Thought the hotel was going to be a little bit more modern for the price we paid though but was still nice. Bar staff seemed reluctant to want an order placed for cocktails as he’d cleaned up. It wasn’t that near closing time but he commented on the fact twice and it’s not like they were cheap either!. There was only one other person in the bar so not like it was busy! Lady on reception was super helpful and food was fab. We would stay again but I think I’ll bring my own drinks 😂

We loved the hosts, they were absolutely amazing and so welcoming. They made our trip so special.
The property was very well decorated and so comfortable, it felt very luxurious. It was very clean and very well maintained. The breakfast was very good also, very traditional. Highly recommend this place.

The accommodation is located on a quiet road just off the Dublin-Belfast motorway between a business park and a railway line. You do not stay here for the views but because it is a 5 minute car or taxi ride into Dundalk. Although the ensuite bathroom was small, the electric shower was great - instant hot water and good power. For a single overnight stay it was fine.
