The H&J was exceptional. This was a last minute booking due to a work schedule change and I couldn’t believe my luck. The room was spotless and spacious. Bathroom was modern and bright. All staff were amazing. Special mention for Tríona in the bar. Everyone was very busy but incredibly patient, polite and attentive.

I loved the charm of this place. Sure it’s old, a bit of a rabbit warren & a LOT of stairs, but there was a certain quaintness that you can only get at a location like this, with the history it has. The included breakfast was delicious & plentiful, & the restaurant / bar staff were helpful, friendly & attentive. Location was great - easy access to the town centre.
