The owners were very welcoming people and they made us feel part of their home.
The room with the view was plenty big for the 3 of us. For us it was ideal with only an hours drive to Dublin and we loved the quietness of the location in the heart of the Curran.

Large, very large room with 2 King-sized beds, that's a first! Had dinner in the hotel restaurant on my 2nd night, had told Reception that it was my wife's birthday and that was the reason for driving to the hotel and thought that a small/wee cake with a candle would have been good but nothing - a wee bit disappointed.

Room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. All the staff were excellent. Breakfast was first class highly recommended
The village is small and quiet. Two bars when we visited but soon to be just one. One shop, which has everything you need including a deli.
There's a couple of take away places but no where to dine in, so be aware of that.
It's not far to Kilcullen, which appears to be a larger place so eating there may be an option, providing you drive.
