For peace and relaxation, Cliff House has amazing sea views, excellent cuisine and spa facilities on the coast at Ardmore.

The Michelin star restaurant wasn’t open when we were there. The food was a little disappointing and we felt with the location there should have been more fresh fish/seafood on offer.

This friendly hotel has lovely views over the sea and estuary and offers good-value food. It is a good base for visits to Waterford, Cashel, Cork City and Cobh.

Everything is perfect. The check-in process is a very pleasant experience. Freda is the perfect host, the room was large, luxurious, clean, very well decorated and with a large and well-equipped balcony. The breakfast is great, including freshly made croissants, among many other high-quality products.
