Ann was a superb host, she had left a few bits of food and drink to get us settled. She popped over to say hello and check everything was ok. I was travelling alone with my baby so she had made sure I had everything I needed in the flat when I arrived - cot, highchair, toys - and even helped me in with the baby and the shopping!

Walking around Killaloe’s quaint narrow streets, flanked by old shops. Lovely St Flannan’s Church with Oratory. Nice walking over the Bridge. Here you can take a River Cruise boot tour, that shows you the spot where the River Shannon meets Lough Derg. Flanagan’s pub on the river bank has a beer garden and great Pizza.

Killaloe was convenient for visit to Nenagh.
Killaloe was convenient for visit to Nenagh. The area was very nice took a walk into town (but weather was against me). Drove around Lough Derg and the scenery is lovely. Hotel is set in lovely surroundings, staff very helpful, food good you won't go hungry. Very comfortable bed, tea/coffee in room. Good choice of Spa treatments.

Killaloe is a gem of a place, partnered across the mighty Shannon river with Ballina on the other side. Killaloe Hotel and Spa Hotel is on the Co. Clare side with beautiful location waterside and scenic views. It was mid-Winter, Dec.26th. and the spirit of Christmas was palpable in the hotel with warmth among Staff and guests and the heating, decorations and lights aglow. THANKS

Visited many times as I have family there.
Visited many times as I have family there. Lost a lot of it's magic, probably since covid. There were approx. 14 pubs, now only 2. Very expensive for food and drink. Views on the river and lake are fab, a must see. Locals very friendly, everyone says 'hello' how are you? Which was refreshing.
Walk over the old bridge into Ballina for more to do, 2min walk.

Picturesque town on the River Shannon.
Picturesque town on the River Shannon. The bridge over the river is narrow with traffic lights to let cars pass one way at a time. Nice little town with some nice arts and craft shops. We dined in Raw Cafe which had some really nice dishes and was reasonably priced. With crafts for sale in the shop at the front. Just up front the town on the left side of the river is Brian Boru Fort. Its a short walk down from the road to see the large ring fort with its mounds of earth. Just up the road another bit is the start of lough derg . There is a car park, with a coffee shop. If you follow the path by the water to the left side and go through the trees you will find some fisher man wharfs going out onto the water, it is so nice a peaceful here with great views of the lake. Great place to just sit and let your feet dangle in the water. Lovely place to visit.

Killaloe and Banilla are on each side of lough Derg, cross the bridge for either. They both have great pubs and eating places.
Lovely walks can be had in both locations and there is a super beach and water park a few minutes drive from the centre of killaloe.
All in all a great base for a wonderful vacation.
Blossom Hill B&B was the perfect and ideal spot for us to stay for our night in Killaloe. The B&B itself was spotless, spacious and very homely. Norman and Marie were so welcoming and provided us with some great restaurant and bar recommendations in Killaloe. The breakfast was delicious and there was a variety to choose from. Can’t recommend this B&B enough! We will definitely be back 😊
Stayed here for two nights midweek. Lovely hotel with friendly welcoming staff. Food in the bar was amazing. Breakfast was lovely, disappointed in my poached eggs though. Leisure centre pool was very good and the big tube slide made me feel like a big kid!
Overall a very enjoyable stay and would definitely recommend it.
The location was beautiful with amazing scenery, and lovely and quiet. Roisin and Charlie were very generous hosts and left us farm fresh eggs from their chooks and ducks and some other breakfast goodies.
The view from the window was stunning and the location was perfect as there is a lot to see around Killaloe.
We stayed here for 1 night for a wedding at the Lakeside Hotel. It is a 2km walk from the hotel, & very close to Killaloe. The host, Norman, was so welcoming and accommodating. The room was lovely, big, clean, quiet, with a lovely view. Breakfast was delicious. I would definitely stay here again, and recommend it.
We went during Easter Midterm. The children received Easter eggs on arrival. They were thrilled. The hotel itself was in an excellent location. Views were amazing. Breakfast and dinner delicious. Swimming pool great fun, it has a twisty slide! Our room was quite spacious for 4 people. Highly recommend.
Norman and Marie were very kind and considerate, and their place is so lovely! Norman went out of his way to help us when we had a tire issue. It was so thoughtful of him and highly appreciated. I wish we could have stayed longer. I very much recommend Blossom Hill Bed and Breakfast! Thank you!
Ann was an amazing host and gave us lots of info on places to see. The apartment was so comfortable and had everything we needed and more. It’s very central and pubs and restaurants are all within walking distance. A gem in Killaloe.
Excellent location, right next to the Killaloe Hotel, where we were attending a wedding party. Lovely views across the hills.
Cottage had everything we needed for a short break and was plenty big enough for 4 of us.
Very good breakfast, nice selection, staff serving breakfast very pleasant and friendly. Didnt use any of the facilites in the hotel as we were just using the hotel as a base to travel around from. Excellent location
The property was beautiful, clean and very well organised. I stayed for business in Killaloe and I only needed a bed to stay in. This property was above and beyond my needs. I would recommend it to anyone.
This place is beautiful, quiet. Lovely breakfast included. Could not have been better. Best place I have every stayed in in Ireland. Owners are very kind and personable
This is a stylish hotel in a scenic location with plenty of parking, good facilities, comfortable and spacious rooms and excellent food. The staff were exceptional.
