Not just your resort but the attention servers give patrons at any restaurant is lacking sense of urgency and attention to detail.

Everything was exceptional. Food and all staff went over and beyond their duties. Management should be very proud of all the staff. Cleanliness from the inside and out was just amazing. Well done to you all👋👋 and keep up the great work.

Portmarnock itself beautiful. Safe beach, great walk between Portmarnock and Malahide and great golf. Can recommend Lali’s local restaurant, Jameson’s bar at the Portmarnock hotel and Malahide for bars, restaurants and retail therapy

Lovely walks along the coast, neighbouring Malahide is about a 40 minute walk where there are many great bars and restaurants. Great golf courses in Portmarnock, restaurant & bar options are limited.

We stayed here to be close to the airport because we had an early AM departure. It was an easy 15 min drive to DUB via back roads. The hotel was fabulous, the ocean views were spectacular and the room was very clean.

Fantastic location on a beautiful wide beach with wonderful walking possibilities eg 45 minutes to Malahide on coastal promenade, also great walks from Howth on headland in opposite direction, choice of 6k, 7k and 11k walks. Howth itself is a pretty fishing village with lots of fresh fish for sale and restaurants around the harbour area. Malahide Castle also a short drive with its lovely grounds and Avoca restaurant. Also a great value hotel with lots of quality and service for the money. Reception staff really helpful and breakfast super. Golf course is beautiful, quite expensive but deals available on the hotel’s website. I think the hotel would be more expensive if it had a pool and maybe tennis courts. But the beach on your doorstep makes up if the weather is good. Highly recommend, 9.5 out of 10

The location of the hotel is a significant benefit; The advantage of being so convenient to Malahide in one direction and Howth in another direction provides for additional options. The quality of meals was excellent despite the restrictions posed by the ongoing pandemic (Covid 19).

Portmarnock Hotel and Golf is one of the nicest hotels we have stayed in.This was our third stay and we will go again as soon as we can. Wonderful facilities, staff and surroundings. Highly recommend it to anyone
Beautiful historical building in the midst of golf fields and nature! Amazing place to come with small kids as well - we’ve been playing outside all days! Good was good and super friendly staff! We also went for a nice walk to near by town called Malahide - some very good restaurants are there!
We chose this hotel for its location-on the seaside, next to the golf course and within a few minutes of the airport. Room was comfortable and quiet with a view of the ocean, very restful. On site parking. Good food in the bar. Friendly and helpful staff.
fabulous property, the 5 km long beach is perfection, the golf course and landscaping lovely beyond belief. Nice pub with B+ food, breakfast was fine. Room was posh and fully equipped. We wished we'd booked a couple more nights.
Lovely location and the hotel itself was very appealing and clean. Didn't get a chance to try out the golf course personally, but from the outside it looked like a great place to have a nice, challenging game of golf.
The rooms are sparkling, the hotel feels very luxurious with cosy pub and beautiful restuarant and it's also just a short stroll past the hotel gardens, on a footpath to a beautiful giant strech of beach.
The location is great. The best part is the beach located across the street!!! Beautiful scenery!!! The restaurant on site has very delicious foods. This was a nice stay!!!
Location pretty nice and parking easy. If you want a hotel in this area where you can walk the long beach, this is it. Nice waitress, front desk great and professional.
excellent location beside the beach. Electric bikes parked nearby for quick access into Mallahide. Direct train line into Dublin from Portmarnock and Mallahide
Wonderful cosy hotel room. The Oasis bistro was wonderful! My dad cannot stop raving about the potato and leek soup! Free parking was a huge plus for us.
