Carrig island lodge is in a stunning location with a gorgeous view of the castle, the house was absolutely immaculate and was fully equipped with anything you could of thought of like towels, shampoo etc.. as a family of 10 we all had loads of space in bedrooms and beds were so comfortable. Mary’s Greenfields Farmhouse was absolutely amazing, we arrived at night & she offered us delicious apple pie & a cup of tea! She took our orders for breakfast which she cooked for us in the morning (which was delicious & very filling)! We both had a fabulous sleep in a very comfortable bed. Nothing was a hassle, both Mary & her husband were kind. Seeing the dairy cows outside the house was so nice as we are dairy farmers at home!
Room was not clean, nearly unhygienic. The kettle in the room was filthy. Don't not Book here. There was some other person clothes in wardrobe. Paint on walls was dirty and had dead flies mushed into it. There was black mold around the bathroom. Don not book this place. Do not stay here.
