Brilliant location, excellent staff, good evening meals

Wicklow is a historic town and still an operating harbour, in the vicinity of the Wicklow mountains. There's plenty of interest in the town, including the harbour area including the Black Tower, and the Old Gaol museum. There's pubs and restaurants to suit most tastes - I ate at the Blue seafood restaurant on the quay and it was excellent. For lighter meals there are cafes, coffee-houses and bakery tea rooms to from hipster to traditional. I busy, fun town.

The view of the Wicklow Mountains, while immersed in nature, an expansive property complete with Llamas, yoga studio, gardens and a peaceful ambiance throughout the building helped me relax after a very long journey. If you're looking for a more holistic get-away this would be the place to go.

Truly the garden of Ireland.
Truly the garden of Ireland. So much to see and do that I would have needed AT LEAST a week to have seen everything I was interested in. Beautifully kept villages that were spotless and bustling with people. Local people extremely friendly. Can't wait to come back!
I can really recommend a cafe 'Turquoise' for veggie or vegans. The amount of options there was amazing and the food was some of the best I've ever eaten. Along with 'The Happy Pear' in Greystones.
You def need a car to get around and I can recommend stopping at Victors Way for a bit of a different experience with lots of unique statues.

Wicklow is a quaint place and easy to get around if you park your car and walk. There are interesting shops to be found in the town of Wicklow. The surrounding areas towards the mountains is definitely worth exploring. There are great walks and public transport easy to navigate.
The lodge is in a fabulous location, so close to beautiful walks and a very easy drive from Dublin Airport.
Our room was spacious and the bed was really comfortable. We had a lovely balcony off our room with the most amazing view over the Wicklow Mountains. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. Everyone was so friendly and helpful with information about local attractions. We are only sorry we had one night because we could really have stayed much longer.
Brand new remodel and super clean. The beds were so comfortable and it was well appointed. Very close to the adorable Wicklow shops and pubs…very close! It was in a very safe area and we loved walking in the afternoons with the locals all out with their dogs, walking to Black Castle or having a pint in the evening. When we had a question about the washer, Graham popped over and showed us how to use it.
It’s immediately a second home! The hosts Matt and Rita are so nice and do everything for you! We stayed for two nights and had a personal shuttle from Matt to town and back, so we could drink a beer in the pub. They really care about their guests! Best place to stay in Wicklow, if you want to find a place like a second home.
Spotlessly clean apartment. Everything provided including cooker, fridge, coffee machine, teabags, toaster, cutlery etc.
Just bring a few sausages, rashers etc. and you are ready to go.
Brilliant WIFI signal, no problem streaming.
Located minutes away from the M11, no problem getting to Wicklow town, Greystones and Bray.
The entire b&b looks magical. It's quite possibly the best b&b I ever stayed in. It's super clean, bed is very comfy and breakfast was just amazing. Location is superb being right on the Wicklow Way with amazing views of the surrounding hills and forests. We will go back 😄
When I checked in, someone carried our bags to the third floor while my husband found a parking space. The room was comfortable and very clean. Nice bar with friendly bartenders. Breakfast was excellent. There was one waiter, but he was very efficient and friendly.
Better than described - a little gem in the Wicklow countryside there isn’t a high enough rating. Host was fantastic great communication, even left a lovely surprise goodie for my daughters bday. House was spotless and very comfortable for everyone’s needs.
Breakfast was lovely,we had the full Irish,it was very tasty. I enjoyed the quietness of the hotel. When you have 3 kids at home it’s nice to be able to get to sleep without hearing music or children running around corridors all hours of the night.
Best place for family travel in Wicklow county. You can really find everything nearby what you need: food and drink, grocery stores, coffee shops, seaside and attractions. The house is very well equipped and comfortable for even six adults.
We cooked breakfast and dinner in the apartment kitchen that was very well equipped. The host was very welcoming, as were the very well behaved family dogs. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and will highly recommend the location.
Our host is an excellent cook. The pastries, marmalade and food were fresh, delicious and well prepared. I would definitely stay here again when in the Wicklow area. In fact, I might come back again just for the food.
Ideal location to explore Wicklow area. Accommodation was clean and well maintained.
Hosts were friendly and helpful. The laundry room was a bonus - wonderful to be able to wash and dry dirty clothes.
I never stayed at the place and was charged for it. It was represented online as the city of Wicklow and it wasn't in Wicklow and I had no way to get there. It was falsely advertised.
This is a great selfcatering property to explore Wicklow from. The appliances and the Welcome Pack were excellent. A lot of little great touches that made it very worthwhile.
