Great hosts always there to help but respectful of our space too, great food and 5 minutes walk to a local bar. Very beautiful relaxing location right on the lakeside and very chilled. So much better than the photographs portray. Also put on a 4 hour boat trip for us on request which was excellent with incredible wildlife.

Beautiful spot in the backwaters. Quiet and serene escape from the city bustle. Loved my room and view. I was offered a boat excursion but didn't need it because I had the best view of the backwaters from my room and the grounds. Nice food too. The included breakfast was plentiful. In fact too much food for one person. Good home style food too. Dinner on my first night was excellent. 2nd night was ok. Easy 30 minute auto or taxi ride to Kochi.

I wanted somewhere quiet to stay while receiving dental treatment. This house was perfect to relax. Beautiful room, use of lounge, kitchen and swimming pool to cool down and super comfy bed. Marynnn and Philip were the perfect hosts, so friendly and inviting me to eat all the time and making sure I had soft food to eat. Its out of town but easy to get uber or passing tuktuk. Staying here was a great experience! We loved meeting the family who made us feel so welcome. Our train was 12 hours late so we didn't arrive until 9pm and they offered to make us dinner which was delicious! The food here was amazing. The room was good, shower amazing! The best we had in India so far. Their son was really helpful as he translated a lot which was really sweet. We would 100% recommend this place for a couple of nights stay near the beaches in Kochi.
