It's perfectly located opposite to the monastery and is pocket friendly. Walking distance from all the good places and market in Bir. I shared a dorm with two other females. The lock of the bathroom wasn't working and there weren't any toiletries provided. The female staff was very approachable and polite. The cafe at the hostel is really good and Rishi will help you out happily.

We stayed here 2 nights and We fully enjoyed our stay. It's very near and at walkable distance to Nyingma Monastery and Chokling Monastery. The Paragliders Landing are is also very near and only two Kms far from Hotel Rigveda. Rooms are clean and the Care Taker of the Hotel is very helpful in nature. It's couple and Family friendly Hotel. Overall it's very good option for staying at Bir Colony.
