A small town with heritage sights .... more prominent being the birth place of M K Gandhi. Temples abound. Travel from place to place for tourists is mostly by way of shared Auto reasonably priced. Food available is mostly local type vegetarian though a few non-veg hotels can be found. Economy is mostly driven by fish business (exports and domestic sale). Overall a pleasant place for a short visit.
