We were given a room on the third floor, thankfully there was a lift. The room was spacious, bed was comfy.
Breakfast was varied and plenty of it.

The staff members were excellent. Both in reception and the staff member serving dinner and breakfast. They were both very helpful and happy. An absolute pleasure. Dinner was also delicious.

Host was very friendly and welcoming. We rode horses with him in the morning, which was one of the highlights of our trip! The kitchen was perfect for the light dinner and breakfast we prepared and the hot shower was wonderful.

We stayed not in Hofstadir. And that is the problem.
We stayed not in Hofstadir. And that is the problem. They have a dependance building like 750 mtr away from Hofstadir. Its like staying with the family with grandma overseeing your actions (really, she does).
So be sure to book Hofstadir and not farmhouse. The family is very friendly and helpfull and the Hofstadir (not farmhouse) looks very nice with view over the fjord..
