Vik is a lovely village. Very beautiful and the hotel is a perfect location. The breakfast was lovely. Beds were really comfy and the two children’s beds were upstairs.

Great views. We had two rooms - one with ocean view and one with mountain view. Both were beautiful. Rooms were clean and comfortable and breakfast was pretty good.
There was no refrigerator - not even a common one that could be used to store food we were carrying, but hotel staff did offer to store the stuff for us in their kitchen, which we collected next morning.
Dyrhólaey Stone Arch is pretty close (~8 minutes by car). Great views from there. But we did not see any puffins as we visited in May and some years they do not arrive until June.

Excellent location and a very cozy hostel. Very well maintained and clean communal spaces. A big plus that there are multiple showers as well. The host was also super friendly! It was even better than the images, we had the most amazing views all around the hostel! The breakfast area is mostly from glass so you can enjoy looking around whilst dining there. Will definitely return to stay here :) 10/10 recommend. The host also attended us aurora was there when we were waiting to see it and kindly turned off the lights for better views, so sweet!
