Breakfast was fairly basic but the croissants were very good. The lack of English speaking staff made it difficult to explain our orders but we managed.

There are much better place to stay in Sicily.
There are much better place to stay in Sicily.
Acireale has very limited restaurants.. good for sea food lovers. Food was expensive! but not much varieties of Italian pizza and pasta! Views were good but Acireale is very quite and 25 minutes walk to the near place! No trains, trams and bus service! You have only two options to travel… walk or taxi. Sea looked beautiful but it was Rocky so I wasn’t comfortable to swim. Toarmina was good great. Avoid sea in Acireale. Go to south where you can find sandy beaches

Lovely city, very cosy and pretty.
Lovely city, very cosy and pretty. The sea is wonderful, the food is insane - no matter where you go, you eat well. The locals are friendly and always ready to help. They don't speak much English, but they're still helpful!

Lovely town!
Lovely town! Not much happening during the day and almost everything closed between 13.00 & 16.30 for siesta so was limited to what you could do or eat during those hours. At night though it was a different story and the place came alive!! Great atmosphere and streets were bustling, a great change from the day.

Nice atmosphere of the historical center, not crowded by tourists. Perfect location for visiting Etna, Catania, Taormina, Noto and other eastern seacost places. Probably not good destination for those who like spending holidays on beach.
A little paradise located in small village where the time had stopped. Beautiful surroundings, Etna is everywhere, you can see it from restaurants, when you walk, while you swim, etc... . Careful host, ready to help any moment. Thank You, Alessandro! Strategic location for easily visit the East Coast of Sicily, Messina, Taormina, Acireale, Catania, Syracuse, Ragusa, etc. East Sicily is full of different beaches for everyone's taste, the children enjoyed them a lot.
Residents Cavour is one of these rare pearls.
Located very near the main Plaza of the wonderful little town of Acireale; very local; not overwhelmed by tourists as Taormina is.
The hotel and the rooms are modern and kept pristine.
The biggest asset of Residenza Cavour is undoubtedly Michelangelo: he will bend backwards to make your stay as pleasant as can be.
I like the formula of a voucher to some very nice terraces on nearby plazas for breakfast included
Hands down, the nicest suite/hotel I've stayed at in Italy.
Situated in an ancient palazzo right in the historic centre of Acireale, it's been renovated to be modern, tasteful and comfortable. All the details are amazing. The suite is also huge, I wish I'd stayed longer.
Rina, the owner, cooked me a huge and delicious breakfast according to my tastes and she also helped me book a taxi when I left.
It was an exceptionally good stay. The hosts are friendly, intelligent and symphatic people who know a lot about Sicily. They did everything to make my stay fantastic. I enjoyed little conversation during the breakfast every morning. It was like staying in friends house. The room is perfect - big, new and super clean. There are many sights to see around within an hour drive. Highly recommended!
Adriana is an excellent in hosting and her house is perfectly clean. Basic amenities, food store and a meat shop, are near by in this small village of Stazzo. When you'll arrive flying in Sicily, you don't necessarily need a car here in Stazzo.
The bus stop is nearby the house. During the school days there are good bus connections to local cities of Riposto and Acireale.
The owner, Santa was very friendly and helpful. She helped us with anything we needed. The room was very clean, comfortable and tidy. The villa itself was amazing, new with all high quality equipment. Location was good also in a peaceful, quiet village where time passes slower. If I were to go again in Sicily, Santa would be the number one pic for staying.
We had a lovely stay in Claudia's and Fabrizio's place, right by the sea. Santa Tecla near Acireale is a great place for excursions in the area, but it's l also nice to just sit on the terrace and in the garden relaxing. Fabrizio has definitely a green thumb, the living wall at the entrance looks amazing.
The hotel have a restaurant which is rather popular with the locals, which must mean they approve. We did too. The same place also hosts the breakfast, and it was pretty decent (although the Italians prefer sweets much more than I do for breakfast, just a matter of taste).
Wonderful place with a delicious small town park just outside for a breath of air. Beautiful and well-kept hotel.
Kind and dedicated staff. On departure, we were asked sincerely about our suggestions for improvement. I appreciate this chance for direct feedback.
The very friendly and helpful owner helped us to carry the suitcases upstairs. The pool area and the whole garden was very nice. Nice view in every direction (the Etna, sea, landscape). The nicest and the best accomodation during our stay in Sicily!
The breakfast was amazing, each day Giuseppe prepared a new different local Sicilan breakfast that was very tasty and prepared with care. He is such a great host and took really good care of us while we stayed at Made in Sicily
The hotel is in a very good location and the service was excellent throughout. Carmelino the owner was a perfect host and made our stay so much nicer. Breakfast was also good value.
A bit noisy, breakfast was great, view is great, little sea village near Acireale ,you can’t swim in the ocean ,but people still going anyways, conchiglia restaurant nearby is great also,
We liked everything about this little palace. The breakfast on the balcony with see view in February will always remain in our memory when we think about our holidays in Sicily.
Fantastic location right in the heart of Acireale with a wonderful view over the street. Loved that there was private secure parking during Carnavale. Very soundproof as well.
