The hotel is right on the water, next to the Argegno ferry port - a great location for getting to tourist hotspots such as Varenna and Bellagio. The hotel is a little dated but comfy and clean. The reception staff were the best thing about the hotel. They were so friendly, helpful and happy. They helped us with booking a taxi to the airport and with the ferry timetable, which can look a bit overwhelming!

We loved staying in this hotel nestled up the hill away from the crowds, takes around 30 mins to walk to Argeno from where there a good ferry and bus service, then around 40 mins walks from Argeno to the hotel as uphill. We enjoyed the walks as good exercise and nice views! However 2 days we hired a car which made things very convenient but there can be very bad traffic!! Staff friendly and super comfy rooms with a balcony.

Dream Holiday is a fantastic place to stay. The apartment is very pleasant, clean, and comfortable. Everything is decorated with great attention to detail, making you feel right at home.
The location is excellent – close to major attractions, yet in a quiet area. The hosts are very kind and helpful, always ready to provide any information and support.
I definitely recommend Dream Holiday to anyone looking for a comfortable and pleasant place to stay. I will surely stay here again at the next opportunity!

The apartment was absolutely stunning, the pictures don’t do it justice. It was perfect for us with great facilities! Communication with Vanessa was spot on, she even gave us tips and suggestions for Christmassy events and places to go!

Argegno is a beautiful area with many restaurants offered than the nearby counterparts. There is also a bar to enjoy to. We had the pre wedding cocktail party at the Villa Belvedere by the lake. The food were delicious. Argegno location has stunning backdrop of the Lake and nature collides. The clouds will come down and the touch the mountain forest in the morning or in the afternoon. Its such a beautiful thing to see. Because Argegno is a bit regional or far from Como Lago, you will find English language is hard to come by. Taxi is difficult to find. Even if you will find a number to call through your host or by the post, your call most likely will never be answered like mine! Their so called taxi in Argegno is a private taxi. Do not expect the word “TAXI” printed on the car. Highly recommended to get your own car rental sorted out before heading to this beautiful location. However, the road will give you an adrenalin rush. It is narrow. Two big cars are a crowd :). Small car would make a difference navigating to the road.MitziUnited Kingdom - 8.0Scored 8.0

Nice small village directly on the lake. Small centre with about 4-5 restaurants/bars and a very small "alimentari". All you need for a stay of a few days. Not too many public beaches on Lago di Como in general, but you can find nice spots quite close, if you look for (e.g. Lenno) Located about 15 min from Como (car) and about 15 min from Villa Carlotta, Villa Balbinanello and from the ferry station to Bellagio- Next supermarket could be a little close. Peaceful & serene, family hotel, helpful friendly staff, fulfilled every wish. Good restaurant attached to the hotel with bar, extensive menu. Good continental style breakfast with cappuccino/expresso included. Ferry across the road as well as the bus. Lovely quiet area, we went to a beautiful free concert in the local church with a harp orchestra. Easy access to the other parts of the lake by bus, ferry, taxi or car. Do NOT stay here. This place was severely infested with bedbugs and other insects (both at beds, sofas and inside in general). It would need a proper chemical pest control action and renovation of ever to be used for people to stay. Marika C from the accommodation communicated only for a bit – was very unconstructive, dishonest and then blocked us (instead of offering any solution). This property should not be on Booking as it’s a health hazard. Unless you want to bring pests and bed bugs back to your home (or have to leave after 10 mins to stay in a pricey hotel last minute) – don’t bother booking.AdamCzech Republic - 8.0Scored 8.0

Good base to explore other resorts on Lake Como by Ferry service. Nice friendly local bars & restaurants. Great public Lido & fantastic boat hire service available. Buses are a bit unreliable & would not recommend staying in a apartment on the hill without a car unless you are in super fit condition-as the walk to & from town is very strenuous.

We really enjoyed the view from the balcony, looks exactly like in the pictures! Also our contact person Vanessa was really nice and helpful and always answered our questions really fast. If you have the chance to come to Argegno we would definitely recommend you to stay here and we would come back any time!

You're having breakfast in the terrace with the village of Argegno underneath and uncompromised views of the lake. The view alone makes it worth staying here. The flat is also enormous. The main bedroom downstairs has an ensuite and lots of space. Two other rooms and two other bathrooms upstairs.
