We booked one room for 4 persons and when we arrived and were given the room, there were two beds and one extra lounger. We went down to speak to the staff, but the lady couldn’t speak any englsh. Finally she gave up and we got two rooms. One room was a bit smelly, but we survived.

We loved this small hotel, it was within easy walking distance for train station and the Island of Ortiga. It was great to find it had an inner courtyard which our room opened out onto.
For a few euros more the breakfast was very good. We were grateful for the lovely receptionist who helped us with a small problem we had and we were also able to extend our stay for another night.

Hotel is next to Archaelogical Park and Paolo Orsi Archaelogical Museum ( the reason for choosing this hotel as we want to visit the museum). Also 10 -15 mins walk to Ortigia . A quieter part of town to stay than Ortigia.
The room is decent and clean and the beds are comfortable.
The reception also recommended good restaurant options for dining.

Location was just off main street. We have a large amazing 3 bed room. Lovely view of main street which was nice as sun shone into our room first thing in the morning. We could partly see Ortiga in the distance. We had two huge French balconies. Staff were really nice and lovely, spoke English and helped us with travelling to our next destination.
Hotel location wasn't far from restaurants and cafes. Bus station was 10-15min walk.
Access to hotel after hours is straight forward and easy.
