Everything was very comfortable. Set in a quiet rural position. We were warmly welcomed, the staff were super efficient, always ready to help and very friendly. The chef is excellent! We had some of the best meals in Puglia in the restaurant there. The most delicious omelettes for breakfast.

This was one of the most beautiful apartments imaginable.
This was one of the most beautiful apartments imaginable. The 2 bedrooms are spaced widely apart for ultimate privacy. The decor and facilities are top notch. This owner did an outstanding renovation compared to so many that I have seen where the original home was "butchered" to save money. The rooftop terrace is lovely and we had a neighborhood cat who traversed the rooftops to visit up every morning. He didn't get close, just kept an eye out for treats. We didn't do any cooking because there are hundreds of lovely restaurants that we wanted to try, but the kitchen appeared to be completely equipped.

Martina Franc combines beauty and cleanliness with many of the services of a large city. The restaurants are very good. The cafes on the square are a great place to enjoy coffee and pastry while people watching. The people are friendly and helpful. My Italian is not good but if the person I was speaking to didn't understand me they found someone that did speak English.

Martina Franca is a charming town, not overly touristed, with many restaurants and bars. We especially like Muscato Bar for our morning coffee and cornetto and also for afternoon apertivi; Culo e Camicia makes fantastic pizza; fried pizza appetizer, and any pasta with with the homemade tomato sauce at Ristorante Garibaldi is THE BEST! The people of Martina Franca are friendly; many speak some English. It is a great base for exploring Alberobello, Locorotondo, Cisternino, Taranto, and Grotto di Castellana.

I loved how clean it was and the secured parking and how close it was to old town Martina Franca. I also liked that it was a Trulli home . The host helped me so much in planning my travels while driving.

Martina Franca is a beautiful town, probably a little overlooked by a lot of visitors because of its close proximity to Locorotondo, Aberobello and Cisternino, though it also offers a great base to visit them from. The town has some fantastic architecture along its streets, particularly in the old town and the piazzas are great locations for admiring the buildings and a bit of relaxation. There are lots of restaurants to choose from and with less tourists around you can really immerse yourself in the Italian culture and way of life.

Martina Franca is an understated and not always well...
Martina Franca is an understated and not always well explored city, but worth a lot if consideration as a place to explore the region, it is a magical Baroque small city, divided into old and new ,and both worth time , esp the old section , beautiful squares, a magnificent Cathedral, where if you are lucky you my see a typical and exciting Italian wedding taking place any day of the week , so many restaurants, of all manner of food, amazing valley views of the Valle of idris and proximity to many well known and much visited villages such a Alberbello
Don’t miss this beautiful place , stay afew dys and be surprised
Hotel is perfectly located in between the 4 towns of the Valle d’Istria. Very easy to reach using maps apps. The staff is exceptional, especially hotel manager Katia she went way beyond to make sure we would have the best possibile time. Helped us plan our activities, always available to help and doing everything with a smile. We stayed in one of the traditional rooms built in a trullo, very spacious and fresh (equipped with AC). Breakfast was delicious and offered local products.
The apartment is in city center in very quiet location. It is very charming and well equipped. The bedroom is down in a lower section of the house that was used in the past to keep fresh food and this allow you to stay cool in the night without air condition. Monica is very welcoming and give you all information you need for your stay. She suggested the free parking space and several restaurants that turned out very good.
The place is beautiful! The bedroom is spaciouse and the bed is comfortable. There is everything you need to prepare some food in the kitchen. We also liked the privat terrace and hot tub as we were there in spring. It was a cold week but the house was well heated.
The place is very quiet and a super location to explore locorotondo, martina franca, matera and so on.
As a plus: very friendly people! We highly recommend!
We stay at Maria's for our friends wedding and absolutely loved it there, it was a great base. Although, we wish we stayed longer. The rooms were beautiful -so spacious and comfortable. Maria made us feel so welcome, the breakfast was exceptional - fresh and different choices everyday! Best in Italy! We cannot wait to come back and stay with Maria. Massive thank you! :)
Our stay here was adorable! We had to book last minute and we are so glad we found it. The Trulli is such an experience to stay in. It’s a small property but the rooms are nice and spacious. There was 3 of us, but could definitely fit more. Small kitchen with all the basic necessities. The owner was so kind in helping us book a taxi for the next morning.
Everything was wonderful. Anna and her associate Eleonora were very helpful. We arrived to wine, Prosecco, water and many different types of cookies. It all made us feel very welcomed. and the Trulli was beautiful. We were very comfortable. Especially loved the outside space. Will recommend Anna’s place to anyone visiting the area.
Great and spacious appartment, in a lovely green property. A few minutes by car away feom the center, but very quiet and relaxing. Lovely swimming pool, even at the beginning of May. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming, but respect our privacy. We had a great family week. Martina Franca is a great base to explore the region.
Excellent location, nearby beatufill Puglia's towns. Very quiet and peaceful neighborhood.
Owners, who live on site are very helpful and hospitable. Swimming pool is absolutelly amazing. Our suite was clean and spacious.
Wifi worked well in the apartament.
Close to very well supplied minimarket and nice ostaria.
I would like to thank Alexander for understanding that we could not arrive at the hotel on the dates we booked because of the war in Israel and gave us the option to come whenever we wanted and kept the payment we paid in advance.
It’s good that there are honest people in the world.
Thank again
Great experience in a traditional trulli with a spectacular, huge pool and a very helpful host. The house is in an excellent location in Puglia with all the remarkable towns within a 30 minutes drive. You won't be bothered by anybody, but the wildlife and the quiet nights.
Trullo Leone is a beautiful authentic house situated in a place that allows fast access to most beautiful cities in Puglia. The garden is beautiful and perfect if you want to relax. But what we liked most was the host, who treated us like family coming to visit.
The place is really beautiful, clean, modern and close to the city center. The cherry on top is the balcony view which is stunning. Angela was very nice and helped us with everything we needed. Definitely recommend it to everyone visiting Puglia.
What a lovely Place!! Beautiful area just minutes by car to Martina Franca. Beautiful new kitchen and very comfortable and large living area. The host was communicative and super helpful. Even though it was raining out, we enjoyed our stay.
Friendly, helpfull and effective host. Fantastic view. Lots of space.
Lovely beds. Quiet and peacefull place in the center of the most beautifull street in the oldest part of the city. We would like to go back some day.
The quiet isolation yet close proximity to Martina Franca was perfect. It was well appointed for cooking and the laundry was needed after 12 days on the road. The private pool was also a plus for relaxing after a hot day.
Nice and neat premises. Quiet place to be, pool seemed clean, nice gardens, big parking space. Room was basic but clean. 5 min on foot to the old town of Martina Franca. Would definitely visit again.
Love the location. This is rural Italy--about 15 minutes from Martina Franca. It's gorgeous. Love the oaks, the pool and the country style of this Masseria and the Trullis.
