Beautiful roof terrace, rooms & views of the sea and lovely breakfast and a walk up to capo milazzo from the side (steep to begin with) - worth it around a 8k loop

Whilst I didn't see much of it, I wouldn't stay here. Just travel through on way to Aeolian islands. Surprisingly, no taxi's or uber's at train station when I arrived from Palermo so I had to hitch-hike (lol)!

It's not Taormina which is obviously the jewel in the crown of Sicily but it's a nice town to wander around and the restaurants are good and plentiful.
We stayed there specifically to be close to the Aolian Boat tours (which I don't recommend).

The views from the hotel (including Etna) were just fantastic (we booked sea-view). The location was great for ius as it was a short walk to lots of interesting places for us, and the staff were really friendly ( a bit more english would have been helpful but wasn't necessary)

Milazzo is a beautiful coastal city rich in history, culture and architecture. I was there for just two days as the purpose of us staying there was our sail to the Isole Eolie, but I did notice the city offers excellent shopping and all types of dining and nightlife. And the day and nighttime views of the Aeolian sea and mainland Sicily were gorgeous. As Italian/American tourists, I was delighted how friendly the locals were to us on the street and in the stores/restaurants. Be prepared to pay for parking wherever you go though day and night. I would certainly visit this city again.
As far as I could understand it is one of the best B&B in Milazzo. My friends stayed nearby and were very diappointed, and was positively impressed, though I prefer hotels. The hostess was very kind, showed me everything and brought me croissant for breakfast. You can find a large dining zone with coffee and everything and very cozy rooms with really nice bathroom. Each room has it's own exit to an inner garden, that's also very nice. A parking across the road is free of charge. The sea is just in 2 minutes walk.
Our stay at Solaris couldn’t have been better. We only stayed in Milazzo for one night but if we had known it was so nice we would’ve stayed longer. The room was incredibly spacious and comfortable - we also appreciated the theme of of the room. The staff were also very kind and served a wonderful breakfast in the morning. Would not have changed a thing about our stay. I should also add that the check-in and check out was incredibly easy and seamless.
What was not to like? The hosts are friendly and quickly answered any questions I sent before arrival. They met us upon arrival having given them 30 minutes notice. The residence is modern, clean, quite, and comfortable. A nice patio/balcony with an excellent view of harbor and Mt Etna. We got to enjoy the night-time lava flows from a very safe distance. I highly recommend these accommodations; my first choice should I return to Milazzo.
We chose the location because of convenience to the ferry from the Aeolian islands. Only a couple of mins walk. We were put up in a hotel quality bedroom in an adjoining building - they obviously have a close working relationship. We had breakfast in the hotel - which was excellent - out on the patio. The reception was very friendly and helpful and the room very comfortable with a balcony overlooking the port
It was a classy place to stay in old town Milazzo. Breakfast was nutritious and delicious. The room was a cool respite from the hot Milazzo summer heat wave. We loved chilling out during the heat of the day. And the facilities were well appointed and clean, Also the staff was generous with their time and knowledge, so friendly and funny! We couldn't have asked for more.
Amazing place, I wish I had stayed longer!
Newly renovated interior with lots of original details, including the tiled floors, probably the nicest hotel in Sicily I have been to.
Nino, the owner, is extremely friendly, always ready to assist you online and he even offered to take me to the beach with his bike so that I don’t have to wait for the bus.
Grazie mille!
Easy to find and close to the ferry terminal. Davide met me when I arrived and showed me the room etc and small terrace large enough for 4 people to sit outside and have a meal.. There is a small shared kitchen with a fridge and tea and coffee . Location perfect for walking to the beach and seeing the sights of Milazzo. Would definitely stay here again.
Convenient location to access the ferry/hydrofoil to Eolian islands. Located in a quite neighborhood, although close to the lively port area of Milazzo. Room was spacious and clean, with a balcony that added some extra space and provided a breather (since we were four people in the room)
The hotel was superb. The gardens were amazing, and everything was very clean. Our room overlook the sea, and it was tranquil and beautiful. I could have stayed for a week. I swim in the sea and walked during sunset. Magnificent ! Peppe the manager was more than helpful. The best!
We were stuck in Milazzo because the boats to the Aeolian Islands were cancelled due to bad weather. While there is not much to recommend Milazzo itself, this B&B is an excellent place to stay. The hostess was extremely nice and the room was comfortable and real value for money.
Location: few steps to Liberty line ferry to Eolian islands. Indoor garage for 15€/day.
Communication. Excellent WiFi. Fridge and hot drinks for all rooms. Gratis granita in the Tropical bar.
Short walk to everywhere. The beach is across the street. A short walk to the center and the promenade on the other side of Milazzo. A lot of space in apartment. Good washing machine.
It is very conveniently located across from the ferry dock making it easy to catch my boat to the Aeolian islands the next day. Check in was easy, they texted me the code.
