Excellent thermal pools set in lovely grounds. The breakfast was excellent including a selection of nuts, fresh fruit as well as a choice of cakes and a cooked breakfast. We booked with dinner included and the dinner was very good too. The waitress at dinner was very friendly and welcoming and made all the difference to our enjoyment.

The Hotel is very big, inside out. With a lot of spaces for some rest (armchairs & table) indoor and a huge park around the building. There are two pools one indoor connected to one outdoor of warm water and with hydromassage that turns on several time during scheduled timetables. There is a little (2 people) sauna & steam room. It is 10 minute walk from the train station and centre with shops. A longer walk (20 mins) for a supermarket. The breakfast has a variety of sweet & salted offers with staff that moves amongst tables to clean & bring us the hot beverages of our choice. Night porter service. Beautiful view of the hills from the balcony.

Nice warm and warmer swimming pools, not Natural looking like in some places but big enough and not over crowded (especially not the coolest pool).
Good food, friendly staff, all a bit different but enjoyable

It was a run down town that only catered to people wanting to swim in the spa pools in the hotels. the hotels could have been placed anywhere including a city centre - the local surroundings were very residential and un-interesting.

Very nice stop as we were driving and needed a place for the evening. Close to autostrada but quiet area. We were able to sit at the hotel pool bar area and order a nice dinner. The hotel restaurant looked lovely but we didn't want a big meal. We enjoyed the thermal pools after dinner and it was relaxing. The staff was nice. The room was comfortable. The hotel was really nice. Most guests seemed to be staying for multiple days so I am sure it would be good for a longer stay. We had a nice breakfast outside before we departed.
Large green territory, location in a quiet place away from noisy roads. Swimming pools and whirlpools make a combination of joy, swimming, exercise and healing water treatment.
Hotel staff was friendly and attentive, quality of food service and how it was organised exceeded all expectations.
Special thanks to the receptionist Eugenia for her attention and providing helpful information during our stay and thanks to all hotel staff for such a wonderful week of family vacation.
It will always be a pleasure to be back.
Pools were spacious and clean. They were very warm so ideal for elderly and kids. It wasn't busy when we went. We even had the pool to ourself for 1h.
We had a free upgrade to a suite. Which was gorgeous and the bed was firm.
Internet worked well. Breakfast was plentiful and they make you the coffee you request.
The hotel is dated but in a nostalgic way and it is kept well. I personally liked the vibe of the 1930s and all the mismatch furniture .
Great historical hotel, very well maintained with modern spa facilities. Historical atmosphere of the hotel which was build almost 120 years back and still maintained by family
Great breakfast
Good rooms and facilities
2 spa pools with thermal water, one is only for hotel guests
Possibility of medical treatment with balneo therapy
The room is quite big and comfortable, with an amazing terrace. The pool and the territory of the hotel are very well managed and clean. The full board was totally worth the price, the food is delicious with a quite big variety of choices. And the biggest benefit of the hotel is the staff, extremely professional, kind and helpful.
Rooms are well maintained and cleaned, except for the shower where we discovered a couple of unpleasant stains.
Lunch is delicious if you decide to go for it for extra money.
Overall, the stay was good, but it definitely was below my expectations from a 5-star hotel. It's not worth the money.
The hotel has a bit of "retro" fashion, but it is perfectly maintained. The room and the entire hotel are very clean and tidy. Staff friendliness was amazing. The swimming pools are wonderful and they are a great asset. The whole place is quiet and just perfect for a proper relaxation!
Charming hotel. It was full of Christmas Spirit. The decor was old world with comfy couches, chairs, tables all through the lobby. They accommodated my dog and my gluten free diet. I have reservations for Christmas since it was so cheerful I couldn’t wait to go back again.
the property is new with great spa facilities and very relaxing atmosphere. We checked in in the evening and went to the pool until 11pm which was amazing. The breakfast was one of the best we had on the entire trip. Highly recommend this resort.
The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of quality products, as well as the hotel restaurant menu with a great wine list. The whole atmosphere of the hotel and the pools is pleasant and relaxing. Staff very forthoming. We plan to come back.
Quiet, peaceful place, quality services, good rest, weekend music. It’s nice, curious to wait here for dinner because of the variety of menu. I haven’t tried mud therapy yet, but hopefully there will be an opportunity. Pet friendly hotel.
The hotel was very good and I recommend it. Especially for sports people that require physio.
The gym is good and the services (massages, Spa,...) are exceptional.
My only advise is not to book through booking.com. Go direct!
Location was great, just half block from Montegrotto Terme train station. Fabiola was great and very helpful. We could go back there in a heartbeat. Incredible restaurant downstairs
