Perfect value for money and great facilities. We got a room with twin beds and the staff very quicky accommodated us is a new room with king size bed despite the place being fully booked. Staff was generally lovely and professional, and the place is 30 mins walking from the very city centre. Nice breakfast buffet. Recommended!

Porto Ceresio is a lovely little town nestled in a crescent shaped bay within walking distance of a border with Switzerland. There are still a few old buildings and houses that are in dire need of overhaul and renovation but the local council is clearly investing time and efforts to improve infrastructures and local businesses and our take-away was that it's still full of potential! Best place between Ponte Tresa and Riva San Vitale for a promenade and laid back dining.RonSwitzerland - 8.0Scored 8.0

Cute little tranquile village at the border of the lake. nothing fancy, but nice little restaurants, coffe shps and a great little bakery. A nice small promenade, bought fresh fruits at the local market. the whole atmosphere and location was really attractive. This is of course an off season impression (May).

The lake is directly in front of the door. You can borrow the hotel's cayak and SUP for free. There is a pool but it was a bit cold so that our kids preferred the lake. It is a nicely renovated traditional house and everything is in place. Short term parking is available to unload the car and long term parking is not far away. Lovely place!
