Remote port town, not very elegant but quite pretty, surrounded by pine forests and not crowded (relatively more popular with Italian tourists). Poor infrastructure extends travel times, but well suited by tranquil beach holidays with not too much fuss.

Every time we stay there, we feel like not just guests, but part of the family, like at home. The staff is very kind and helpful. The hotel is immersed in a flowering garden, and the balconies offer stunning views of the pine trees, the soft hills of Tuscany and the sea. The hotel's restaurant deserves special praise. The beach is very picturesque.

The location was fantastic and so close to the superb beach, bars, restaurants and marina. The security was great - The underground parking ensured the safety of our car and it didn't get too hot.
