Lovely view over the lake and hills from our balcony.
Excellent shower, with really hot water and great pressure. Very good breakfast. The staff are very kind and helpful. Bus stop right outside driveway into Bellagio (5 mins away) or to Como if wanted. Very happy with our stay.

2 minute walk to the ferry, beautiful view of the lake, walking distance from Villa Balbianello, which is a must see in the Como region. And hotel owners and staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay which made it even cozier!

Excellent lake-side position not far from Lenno, which has a couple of well-stocked supermarkets and several nice restaurants. All the most interesting middle-lake villages and visitor attractions are within easy reach. Sala Comacina itself is quite small, quiet and quaint, and Comacina Island is only a short boat ride away.

The hotel is off the beaten track and was very tranquil and relaxing. Our room was beautiful, the breakfast was delicious and the staff were amazing. We ate dinner one night at the hotel and it was very good. You can go to many of the FAI sites, and Villa Balbianello was our favorite. It is where they filmed scenes from the James Bond Film Casino Royal. The gardens are spectacular and the last villa tour I believe is at 4 or 4:30. The ferry is right at the hotel, and you can buy the tickets on the boat. Pay close attention to the schedule, and ask the hotel for a copy and ask them to tell you how to read it. Also be aware that the times for the boats returning from Bellagio to Sala C, and other sites is limited. The ferries also run like clockwork so be at least 5 minutes early. We truly enjoyed our stay at Taverna Bleu on Lake Como and can't wait to return. The only issue we had was there was one group of very loud guests, which of course was not the fault of the hotel.

Our bed was the most comfortable I think we have ever had in any hotel. Damiano and Eduardo in the bar are amazing cocktail “artists”. Truly. The restaurant is elegant and stylish with just the most wonderful food and the menu in the bar is more casual but equally satisfying. We really loved this hotel. It's also in mid lake with ferry striking distance of Bellagio, Varenna. View is breathtaking and room very spacious for the price. A small beach and swimming dock across the street is a great perk.
