Sant' Agnello is great to stay due to lower prices and good neighborhood and a train station. However one important thing to know is that it is 10min away by bus from Sorrento downtown where everything happens (where all the tourists go to lunch, drink, dance and shop). The bus works well but it's breaks are a bit big (20, 30 minutes) and at night they stop circulating.

The location was good - easy walk from the train, and near to lovely views, restaurants, sites. The hotel is elegant and well appointed - be certain to confirm that the room booked is the one that you receive - ours was different and we were a bit disappointed (ex, no kettle, not bathtub). Definitely visit the roof terrace - the service is outstanding - it is quiet and romantic! We would have loved this hotel if they had not called to cancel our second night during the second day - caused a stressful difficulty in locating another hotel and they did not help!

So many LESS tourists than Sorrento, which was right next door. Free beach for swimming, and good choice of restaurants. Close to Sorrento (one stop on the local train), handy for Pompeii - 30 mins. There's lift to the beach and harbour so you don't have to climb 50m of cliffs! Nice park at the top of the cliffs with a cafe to relax in and enjoy the views.

It’s close to Sorrento (in walking distance) but it’s less busy and also has a lot to offer (bars, cafes, beach…).
Also very easy to move around (Naples, Pompei, Positano, Amalfi, Capri…) from there.
Would highly recommend staying there for visiting the area.

Great location, supermarket close, self contained apartment, well appointed, balcony to sit out, clothes line to hang our washing, easy access to train station, 15-20minute walk to Sorrento centre, sight seeing in Pompeii easy by train.
The staff at the hotel are excellent. They are so knowledgeable and charming and there is nothing they won’t try to do for you. The three ladies on reception were so helpful. The hotel is beautiful. We had a lovely terraced room with a sea view. The location of the hotel was perfect. It’s just outside Sorrento so when it’s busy in the centre it’s lovely to return to the haven of your beautiful hotel. Only downside to location is there’s not much to walk to in the area. However they have a shuttle bus that takes you into town.
What an incredible stay we had at Hotel Villa Constanza, from the moment that we arrived Constanza was a wonderful host who even cooked us dinner due to our late arrival, all using her fresh produce from her gardens, the stunning view from the hotel Terrance to Sorrento and the mountains was magnificent, rooms were comfortable and proper, I highly recommend this hotel. we also could use the jacuzzi at any time! almost cried leaving this stunning- breathtaking wonderful place. this is by far the best b&b in the hole area
The hotel was very clean and the staff were incredibly helpful. We had a room with a view of the Bay of Naples that was beautiful!!! On two of the nights of our stay, we ate in the bar since we had eaten in a restaurant for lunch. The food was delicious. We had soup and a pasta dish.
The hotel was quiet and had everything that we needed. Due to the rain, we did not spend as much time outside in the hotel gardens as we would have liked, but they were lovely. We would definitely stay here again!
The best thing about this hotel is the staff. They are so nice and caring, always ready to solve any problem, they even anticipate your needs.Especially the two Maitre D' are incredible efficient. The People who serve the tables cannot be nicer and more elegant. The location is great, a few blocks away from Corso Italia. And the swimming pool is an excellent place to relax. Good daily breakfast with so many choices! We will definitely come back!
Self contained apartment was on the main road into Sorrento and was an easy 15-20min walk. It was also only about a 7 minute walk to the train station and to the hotel we had to be picked up from for a one day tour of the Amalfi Coast. There were plenty or places to eat locally as well as being very close to supermarket. The apartment had a lovely balcony to sit out for a drink and a line to hang washing.
I booked the room on the same day, one hour before getting to hotel. The staff was super friendly and i got the room on the spot.
The hotel premises are very well looked after, everywhere I worked was clean and tidy.
The room itself was great. Huge room, well ventilated, clean and cozy beds.
Overall an excellent stay and if I'm going back to Sorrento anytime soon, will stay with them again.
Lovely welcome from friendly and obliging staff. The hotel feels like someone's grand home and has an intimate, boutique feel. Lovely pool area with lots of loungers where you can order drinks and snacks. Spacious room, well-equipped with kettle and minibar. Location in a leafy quiet part of Sorrento, within walking distance of restaurants and terraces overlooking the sea.
The staff were all fantastic, they made us feel very welcome for the whole duration. The hotel itself was very clean and tidy and the rooms were well appointed. The location was fine with just a short walk to Sorrento if you didn’t want to take advantage of the free, regular return shuttle bus. All in all a great week here, would strongly recommend this hotel.
What an amazing find. we loved everything about the hotel. the staff were always happy and eager to help. we were given great restaurant recommendations in the area. Train station very close and it was easy to get to different locations. you can walk into Sorrento but we often opted to use the train. Absolutely would come back again.
The hotel interior is pleasant and comfortable. It appeared that the lobby, dining, pool and guest room areas all had ocean views. The hotel operation was professionally run. All front of the house employees were bilingual. Above all, the staff was pleasantly accommodating which made our stay most enjoyable.
The property looks better in real life , it was a bit of a distance out of Sorrento but we actually liked that , some people may prefer to be closer , it is only about a 20 min walk but in the heat of August this feels longer , so keep that in mind , but has been my fav hotel of our trip around Europe
Breakfast was good and lots of choice. Location was good just a short drive from Sorrento central palazza. Staff good, pool area good. Don't trust Google Maps to guide you to this place if driving, it had a tendancy to direct you down a back alley to get to the hotel, leading to a dead-end.
Lovely little hotel in a really nice location. Locally there is a public beach, restaurants, supermarket and cafes. Prices here far more reasonable than in Sorrento town. Sorrento is literally 2 minutes by train or a nice 20 minute walk. Staff at hotel all great and very willing to help
Fabulous hotel, shuttle bus every hour on the hour into Sorrento (5mins drive), amazing pool and beach area, room was fabulous with twice a day cleaning service, new towels every evening. Breakfast was phenomenal and the view from the breakfast balcony. Cannot recommend enough.
the location is great for me its a walking distance to the town square also the area is not crowded and in a nice neighborhood
The hotel facilities is great and the staff are super friendly, especially the guy on the front desk!
