I really liked their restaurant: both the diner and the breakfast were amazing. They use only (or mostly? at least) products that thet grow themselves, and it's all bio. Also I'm a celiac and they were easily able to adapt to my needs, even more so than some "big" restaurants can do.
Also very cool is that they have many animals, and allowed me to go in to see them up close (there was a cute donkey notably).
You kind of felt part of the family, if we can say that, and it felt nice. Would consider going back there if I go in this part of Italy in the future.

The fireplace, the peacefulness, the nature all around. The dogs and cats from the neighbour.
The bed was really comfy, and the all chalet was very clean. The owner is absolutely lovely and helped us out so much. Definitely highly recommend for nature and chalet lovers.

The host is very kind. I like people like that. Very helpful. The house was very clean. The breakfast was inclusive. It's in a very little village, very quite. It was spring but the house has a pellet stove just in case you need it during the night

The Suite, in the older upper level of the castle, was absolutely lovely with a fantastic view of the sunset, a full size kitchen, extra bed on an elegant mezzanine and a very characteristic fireplace. Breakfast was well assorted and all products were fresh and delicious, from the savoury to the sweet ones. The staff was professional and kind. The hotel also offers extra activities and targeted experiences ranging from tasting tours to night trekking etc.

But our expectations have been greatly exceeded! First of all, this isn't just a standard hotel, you get to sleep in an actual fortress that overlooks the entire village. The view from our room was incredible - what a surprise! All in all, excellent value, would recommend to anyone. Looking back on our trip, this was one of our favourite places we stayed at.

Spotless clean, with everything you need. Parking available nearby for free on a street, and we always found a spot. It was one of the most memorable accommodations on our trip in Tuscany. The host shared some valuable info with us on where to eat and what to do in the area. The peace, nature, freedom and your hospitality were the perfect ingredients for a relaxing stay. We stayed in the glamping tent for two weeks and it was fully equipped. We could also use facilities every day as if it were a hotel room, such as cleaning or towels. Erica thank you for introducing us to Spirulina and the ride in the fiat 500.😄 Hope to see you again! It is a great place to stay for day trips to Pitigliano, Cascate del Mulino, and Civita di Bagnoregio. There are many shops in Sorano where the fortress is located. Two apartments side by side - though we had the place to ourselves. Spotlessly clean and a good terrace space at the front to sit and eat. The small plunge pool was glorious at the beginning and end of the day. Daniela was delightful and the home made jam and honey much appreciated.
