Wonderful old house, well restored with an amazing woodland garden that we were invited to wander in. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful, and the spread of food for breakfast was amazing. There was also a good range of hot drinks and some very nice local biscuits available for guests in the evening. We appreciated the provision of dressing gowns as the shower room, though for our use only, was on the floor below. Private car parking is available immediately outside the house, the latter well-located for walking down into the town centre for an evening meal. We enjoyed visiting a local Pizzeria, booked for us by our hosts. We found it an excellent location for an overnight stay on our journey south to Tuscany.

The town is a little difficult to access, and car GPS systems do not suggest the best way. Torriglia is quite isolated (both a positive and a negative). The eateries in Torriglia are not great, but the breakfast at Villa Ghiron is very good.
