My stay at the En Hotel was suprisingly incredible. For that price I expected the standard business hotel but was suprised.
- The staff at the desk spoke impeccable English and was extremely friendly and explained everything in great detail.
- The room was rather big
- The room was very clean
- The bed was big and comfortable
- There was some storage for clothes at the entrance which was welcome
- The bathroom was very clean and modern
- The view out the window of the river was beautiful
- The desk was spacious
- There was a safe and a fridge both of which worked great and were big enough to store stuff
- The hotel is really close to the Hiroshima Station

This was a great find. Booking had a special offer of 20% off plus a room upgrade to a family room for 2 people. Look out for this and, if you’re lucky, you’ll get a spacious room, seating area, separate hallway, shower and bathroom with a large picture window overlooking the sea. A fabulous contrast to the typical compact Japanese room. The buffet dinner and breakfast were exemplary. The staff were brilliant in every respect. Busses downtown are easy.

Our hotel room is outdated and in need of a refurbishment. This said, we found our room comfortable but small. The lobby is nice and they offer complimentary non alcoholic drinks and snacks there each evening. Where breakfast is served is a bright, airy room and is a Japanese style buffet breakfast. There are very limited choices for vegans, only cow’s milk is provided.
It is about a twenty minute easy walk from the Orient to the Peace Park precinct. There is a regular bus service nearby the hotel to Hiroshima Station. The Reception Desk staff English was not that good.

Great location in a very quiet area, so close to town and the Peace Park. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Supermarket 100m away. Nice big, clean rooms. Can't ask for more. Would definitely stay here again.

Close to the station, much larger then other rooms we stayed in on our trip to Japan. Really comfy bed. Came with feather pillows and the staff happily switched these out for us. Great freebies (tooth paste, hair bands, combs), really decent coffee and tea. Lovely helpful staff. Location is also above a 24 hour 711 store which was helpful.
