The shower is always hot and soothing. Comfortable room and lots of friendly travelers. The owner's son organized our three day trek by horse to Lake Song kul. We arrived very late at night, but the hosts from guesthouse waited for us. The next day we were at the market/Basar and the busy center of the town which was just a very nice and exciting experience. The people there mind their own business and leave you alone, but ask for help here and there. But they are honestly helpful and concerned about you - to find the way, find a shop, find anything.
We went horseriding for two days and asked first in the cbt office - but went with a different agency around the corner. Always good to check other offers ;)
The food was good. Went into a local Cafe in the center,, housed in containers and it was crowded with locals - and yes the local food was very good and fresh!
