3 minutes walk from the trail. Warm, well-preserved 70s deco. The room was very clean and not noisy, even though facing the road. Extra point for a nice mirror and light in the toilet for the makeup. We had a nice little balcony. Excellent breakfast and they let you fill your water bottle there as well. Dinner was delicious in southern European style, and the wine was quite good. Extremely lovely and polite staff, particularly the receptionist was extremely helpful and friendly. This place was better than I expected from the reviews.

We enjoyed our first stay at B and B Alferweiher very much, thoughtfully designed accommodation, engaging host, super breakfast and allowed to use the Breakfast Room in the evening to relax with a drink.

The location is quite nice, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The room was well equipped, having all the basic essentials for a getaway. It's fair to say that the owner put attention to detail!

We booked the accommodation shortly before we travelled as we were on our way to meet friends in France. As the weather was so hot we didn't do a lot of exploring, but did make a trip to Konz which wasn't far and was delightful to sit by the river. We also spent a day at the lake in Echternach which was lovely and the gentleman at the Lakeside Restaurant was very courteous in allowing us to sit down by the lake in our own chairs to have a drink. All highly recommended. Narrow roads to the accommodation so may not be too easy for a very large vehicle, especially around one particular hairpin bend to reach the property.
