This is the best place in Riga to stay for a business trip. The location of the hotel is on the other side of River Dauguva, but the best thing for my is a free parking lot which is huge. Also, pretty comfortable and quick to reach the centre of Riga. It has SPA to relax, great and very cosy breakfast area, quality food and good selections for all tastes and needs. Nothing special, but all you need and more for a good breakfast for sure. I especially enjoy the rooms with a bath, which is a great way to relax in a room if not going to the SPA. What is more, it has a souvenir shop, pretty sceneries from the window as well. This is my favourite hotel and I don't plan to change it.
The Viktorija Hotel is housed in a renovated Art Nouveau building in the centre of Riga, a 15-minute walk of the Old Town.

This is my go-to place to stay in Rīga. It's always clean and comfortable, and it's the only place I've found for this reasonable of a price to include ensuite bathrooms. The staff are friendly and it's fairly close to the train and bus stations as well as the trendier restaurants popping up on Stabu Street and the hipstery Miera Street.

My room had a lovely garden view, very comfortable beds and it was a great place to rest and work. They allowed me to be in the restaurant to use the microwave and work a little bit, so I appreciate it. There a supermarket and a tramway stop less than 2 minutes from the entrance, making it very convenient.
