Awesome value for money, really comfy bed, cold aircon, great location. Just didn’t like hearing noisey neighbours on the second night, could hear loud sports and people having long loud sex. Other than that it was a great place

Lovely island. Beautiful sunsets. Full of wild life.
Lovely island. Beautiful sunsets. Full of wild life. Very artistic with lots of murals throughout the island. Great tacos. Kind, chill people. Wish they would forbid the diesel fueled golf carts altogether. Would recommend to friends and family and even come back.

I wish this place would continue to be our little secret.
I wish this place would continue to be our little secret. It is small, quiet and a little bit more private that the other places we visited over the past 30 years. It is out of the way, which makes it more appealing to us.

We've taken three trips to Holbox and plan to go again next year because each trip has been better than the last. The people are so nice and friendly and accommodating. The places we've stayed have all been perfect for our group. The laid back, barefoot vibe really works for us. We've taken the 3 Island tour three times and fully enjoyed it each time. Taxis are readily available, and you can find something to eat by just wandering around town into any restaurant that appeals to you. The beaches are beautiful and the weather has been perfect when we've visited - hot but not humid. The island feels very safe. We will definitely keep going back.

The island has beautiful beaches with white and soft sand.
The island has beautiful beaches with white and soft sand. Island is pretty small and easy to get around but taxi rides are not cheap - on avg 150 pesos even for a 5min ride. You can rent a golf car or bicycles or simply walk. You can easily get around town by walking even if you stay abit off the town area but not if you stay at Punta Coco. Lighting is minimal with some potholes, making walking a tad bit dangerous at night. Activities on the island are quite minimal and the same is offered from one vendor to another. We went for the bioluminescence tour which was ok but is unlike what is shown in the photos. We then went island hopping the next day which we felt was a waste of money bcos there's really nothing much to see and not only did you have to pay for the tour, we also had to pay for the conservation, entrance fee to the island that had a cenote which were added cost and we weren't informed until we got there. As for food, I wouldn't recommend Roots Pizza, the lobster pizza was over priced for a measly portion of lobster meat. Had the 4 cheese pizza and you can tell cheap cheese was used. I do recommend La Casa de Nana for the food - great chef! As for drinks, highly recommend AMA Japanese restaurant for their mixology cocktails - super yums!

Holbox Island is a little piece of paradise, we loved it and would highly recommend it. If you want some beach time while in Mexico and don't like the noise and chaos of playa and Cancun(we didn't like Playa) then Holbox is the place.
Beautiful beaches, lovely restaurants water activities, great holiday.
You can walk around the island or get taxis. Taxi cost about 150 peso depending on where you are staying..
There are shops to buy food and drinks if you are self catering.
Cute boutique hotel, would definitely stay here again!! location is great, just far enough from town to be quieter, still close enough to go out for dinner or shopping, without it being a hassle. Its also close to the nicer beach areas we prefer near the sand bar
Breakfast was good, eggs, pancakes, fresh fruit, yogurt and juices among other choices each day
Luis at reception was very helpful, he was a great source of information, remembers every guest’s name, and was working on his 4th language I believe, he was a delight!
The hotel is a luscious jungle oasis in Holbox! It is immaculate, the breakfasts are fantastic and the staff are all so lovely. One of our favorite aspects were the comfortable beds. I'm 6 months pregnant and slept the best I have in months!!! The hotel staff were so cute and put balloons in our room after they learned we were celebrating our babymoon. It was very rainy on the island when we went but because of how fantastic Hotel Corazon was, it did not ruin our time whatsoever. We would love to go back soon!
The location is excellent if you’re looking for a quiet, secluded area of the island, perfect for families and those looking to unplug. No tv, phone, and the Wi-Fi is barely works, and that is exactly why we are here! An experience to remember! The palapa’s are beautifully hand crafted, the grounds are meticulously maintained, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the food is excellent! If you’re looking for a five star hotel, this isn’t it, if you’re looking for an experience, this place is great.
A really beautiful small boutique hotel. The rooftop bar is lovely to chill out at and does good cocktails, and the pool area doesn’t have many beds but is really relaxing. Our room was lovely and always very clean. Great shower!
Unlimited free water from the breakfast area open 24-7 was great as saves you having to constantly buy bottles of water.
Hotel is about a 5 minute walk from the beach and the sea is absolutely beautiful!
There is a cute hotel dog called Mia
we loved everything. even before arriving the staff was super helpful accommodating all our needs. it continue when we arrived to the nicest places in the island. the setting is gorgeous the ambiance is very nice the food superb we enjoyed the included yoga clases and the gym is above expectations for a hotel this size. for us everything was top notch and is the first choice for our next time in the island
The hotel is very nice, clean and comfortable. It’s perfectly located near everything but still away enough to be quiet. The breakfast is nice and simple, but so convenient to have it in the front of your room. The stuff is very nice and helpful. We had issues with our flight and they were communicating the whole time helping us get to the island which made our experience much better.
Excellent hotel. Room with own balcony is a great size, friendly staff couldn't be more helpful, booking taxis in the evening and serving food and drink to the beach from the rooftop bar. Soho boutique guests have access to Spirit Hotel which gives you beach access (stunning untouched beach) and rooftop pool / bar. The best viewing point for stunning sunsets you could ask for!
Hotel Mawimbi was absolutely stunning, it blew us away, the staff and owners really care and you can see and feel that in lots of details across the hotel. The beach setting is gorgeous, the most luxurious and spaced out of all the hotels we saw in Holbox. The food was also incredible, so easy and relaxing to spend your days at Mawimbi. Cannot wait to go back!
Very nice boutique hotel that I would always like to visit again. I liked the whole style of the hotel since had a very personal and inviting touch. It was also very quiet and close to many nice restaurant.
To the beach you also only have to walk about 300m and if you don't like to go there the pool always is a nice alternative.
Hotel Boutique Casa Muuch Holbox was a really good option for our group of 5 friends. Although the room was a bit small, it was very nice and clean. The breakfast was great and the pool close to the beach made our stay very relaxing. Each employee made sure we had everything we needed too which was very much appreciated.
Amazing hotel with super location (near to beach and close to centro not far to ferry port). Room had view to sea, and was clean and nice. Staff very helpful and friendly and with big knowleage about Holbox Island. Amazing breakfast. All in the good price.
MUST stay hotel! Hotel has large rooms and attentive staff. The location of the hotel has some of the beach along the island and the rooms on top floors have a great view. Amazing breakfast every morning that can be brought to the beach for you to eat.
Morning Breakfast that came with the reservation was really good. The two pools, upstairs and the bottom pool were very convenient to be able to access. In addition, you are able to utilize the pool in front of Soho Boutique, Spirit Hotel.
Everything was perfect. Perfect location, everyone was super welcoming, the room was super beautiful & clean. Amr provide us all informations of the Holbox island by giving us advices. I highly recommend Luna Roja for you stay in Holbox
Very nice and calm hotel by the beach in front of the ocean. A little bit away from center of the Holbox Island but walking from the harbour is not a big deal. Good & teasty breakfast with fresh coffee.
The room is spacious and has a kitchen with a fridge. The facilities are okay but it is not a boutique hotel. Very close to Bilu, best breakfast & brunch in the island!
The hotel is smack on the beach. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. The island is great, but massively more crowded than it was a few years ago.
