The buffet breakfast looked amazing, but as it was too much food, they made us omelets of our choice instead, which were delicious! The room and beds were very comfortable, cool, and quiet. Casa Mia was so authentically furnished. The room had a kitchen, dining, bedroom and bathroom. The AC in the bedroom was great. Little extras like tablets for gastro issues was a caring touch. The staff were great. The rooftop balcony had a wonderful view.

Good News: I had been there many times, had all of my business partners sleeping there, but after the hotel was sold, it had been run down "a little" - so I had not stayed there for many years. Now I had heard that the hotel has new ownership / administration, was renovated and a nice place again, so I tried it with 4 friends (2 rooms) visiting me from Germany, and what a nice surprise: Our rooms were updated, all clean and the whole hotel looked well taken care of again. There is no need to speak about the location, it is just absolute FANTASTIC, what a nice and remarkable space - you will love it ! Everything comes with a price, in this case it is a small one: As you are a little "up the hill" it takes maybe 7/8 minutes walking "down-to-downtown", and uphill I recommend to take a taxi for a few pesos if you are not used to the 2,000 meter above sea-level . . . .BUT the view rewards you, and in my opinion it is fully worth it !!!! THANK YOU for "bringing back" one of the nicest and spectacular hotels in San Miguel de Allende

The room was a perfect location for a one night visit to San Miguel. I wanted to be in the central part of town with access to good restaurants and the main square. I was also able to walk to the wonderful textile centre to see all the artists there. The city is beautifully clean.
