The garden and pools of this hotel are amazing. The entire complex is like a Mayan town in the jungle. The garden is huge. Pictures don’t do it justice. The pools (multiple) are cooled and so relaxing. We saw many rare birds, howler monkeys and a crocodile from the garden and pool. Room was very large and clean. Restaurantje was amazing. It can look kind of tacky based on the pictures, but in reality this hotel is very beautiful. I’m glad we spent two nights here, we decided to spend an entire afternoon at the pool here because it was so nice.

Everything was really great! The garden is really beautiful, full of hummingbirds. Abel the owner and Elena, his daughter, took really good care of us, gave good recommendations and organized our visit to Yaxchilan and Bonampak, with an excellent dériver and guide. Enjoyed visiting the ruins at Palenque, well worth seeing as they were in more of a tropical setting than some of the ruins we visited around Mexico City and it is still permitted to climb up to the top of some of the ruins. While visiting the ruins it was also possible to take a short jungle walk back down to the entrance. The town of Palenque itself was quite pretty with plenty of places to eat and the people were very friendly and helpful. We also took a trip out to Misal Ha and Agua Azul waterfalls which were interesting and fun as it is possible to swim in these areas.

I didn’t spend much time in the town, I was there for the ruins. Definitely take the tour though the jungle to see the ruins that are still covered with trees. Climb through the ancient Mayan Aqua duct, see the monkeys and try eating some termites. The whole experience in the jungle adds immensely to the site.
My guide was Victor, he speaks Spanish and English, very knowledgeable, well worth the money.

We stayed one night in town to visit the ruins
- had a good coffee
- nice evening walk in the town
- farmacies availeble
The ruins of Palenque was beautifull, due to construction/care-taking we could nog visist al the temples. I was sick at the time, but there were enough toilets on inside and outside the domain.
There is a second part more into the jungle where you can see more wild animals but my body was not up for that. As far as we could understand it does take a tour to do this second part.

You can spend weeks in that region easily, because there are too many beautiful things to visit and do. Waterfalls, Maya ruins, hours and hours of hiking in the jungle is all possible and must do. Palenque and Chiapas state offers lifetime adventures. Can rental is essential as the public transport is not really safe for tourists.

The big attraction for tourists to go to Palenque are the Mayan ruins nearby. The ruins are not that impressive. At the time of our visit, the area you could walk around was restricted to only the large buildings. Every few feet was a vendor selling all the same things as the neighbor vendor. This made it feel so commercialized and distracted from being able to enjoy the atmosphere of the ruins. Tikal blows this place away. The museum was pretty good. The town has a few shady blocks with some excellent restaurants in the tourist district, but the rest of the town is not all that special.
These convenient accommodations are subsidizing the howler monkey rescue project of Adriana. At day time the "Saraguatos" are roaming freely on the same property and can get very curious of any new arrivals ;-) hence you might have some very unique encounters with those gorgeous animals. This plus it's proximity to the archeological zone make this the best accommodation option in Palenque! Oh, I forgot to mention the delicious and vast breakfast.
it was last option for accomodation, but it was one of the best in Mexico!
we arrived after 7h in car and reataurant was still oppened. we ordered Club sendwich and steak. the Sendwich was delicious. You have to order Margarita drink!!
we were in ground floor near to swimmimg pool, but the silence was respectfull. The room is comforable, big and clean. The bathroom is huge with hot water.
the staff is really helpful, funny and kind.
Very nice quiet hotel. Just birds, jungle and yourself. I have tryied a massage - it was really relaxing! The hotel has a big territory where you could walk and listening to the birds. Nice pool, we have loved it. Also my hubby was presented a t-shirt of the football team of Mision Palenque, he was very excited! The staff is very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was big and good with eggs, fruits, Coffee and juice. Recommend to stay!
The hotel is really well kept and the staff & maintenance is amazing! Our dietary restrictions were well taken care of & the food itself was really tasty, which was hard to get as vegetarians in the region. The rooms also were really spacious and amazing, and made you want to spend time in them. However, would have to say that the hotel is on the more expensive side in general.
Amazing place. Probably the best place of our stay in Mexico. Manuel and the rest of the people are so super nice. It has a family vibe. And it's the cleanest place. We tried to stay longer but of course there was no more available room. Palenque is amazing. You definitely wanna stay there minimum 4 days. So many great things to do in the area
The staff is very friendly and helpful. Facilities are clean and food and drinks very good. The Palenque ruins are only 20 min away and 40 pesos by collective taxi.
We spotted native animals from the area like agoutis and parrots!
Our coach back was late and they let us hang out in the hotel facilities after our check out!
One of the best hotels in Palenque. The owner, Mr Marco Antonio Morales, was around one day and he was always extremely helpful and nice to us. The hotel is perhaps in the best location of Palenque, comfortable and clean. The area is nice, the facilities and surroundings are spectacular as well as the views.
This place felt like a true oasis in the jungle. I loved it all, the spacious private bungalow, the pool to relax at, the beautiful restaurant with extensive menu, the perfecf Wifi throughout the entire location. This was our perfect place to relax in between our Mexico road trip.
Everything was wonderful!!
Rooms squeaky clean!
Staff super friendly!
Breakfast made to order was heavenly.
Water was hot (just need to wait a few minutes for it- which is very typical all over Mexico.
Location only a few blocks off the square but very quiet at night.
Very safe.
The room was clean, the AC was working, the bathroom was solid and there was a fridge. The location of the hotel is hard to beat next to the ADO bus station, where also the colectivos for the ruins leave regularly. Staff is great. It feels safe.
Hotel is easy walking distance to the bus terminal, and close to several restaurants. Room was comfortable and clean. Staff was great and offered luggage storage so I could spend the day at the ruins before taking an evening bus to the capital.
The property is every well updated and the shower and hot water are amazing. The property review is featured in my YouTube video

Big surprise - we we offered free breakfast in the hotel nearby. Great common area with hammocks, lots of place to sit and take rest. Close to the bus station, great spot to start visiting Palenque and surroundings.
small hotel in the middle of Palenque, we stayed there for 1 night, perfect breakfast and a big bed with airco. I recommend it for a short Stay, you can also park the car in a private space.
Nice place near Maya ruin. Good restaurant and nice swimming pool. There are mosquitos, the hotel is in the jungle. Could be a little loud if your bungalow is close to the main road.
The pool is great, the terrace with a hammock and the grounds of this hotel with a lot of greenery. I would stay again when in Palenque and recommend it
The location was great, and the parking was inconvenient, but once we found parking, walking the square and being able to return to the hotel was good.
