it for my birthday. when we got there, the facilities were dirty and the whole place looked abandoned. we asked them to cancel our reservation but they declined. we had to pay for the whole stay and look for a new hotel.

Staying at La Aurora Hotel was a wonderful experience. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. Specially Karen, who gave us great suggestions on places to see and where to eat. Hotel is in an excellent location right near the main square and very easily walkable to the central ADO station. Just two blocks away from the cenote as well which was great on a sweltering day! Room was clean and the fan & AC worked well.
