I had a huge, spacious room with a massive comfy bed, a big bathroom, and a kitchenette with fridge/microwave - this place is really well equipped for longer stays as well as just a night. The Wifi was reliable and fast enough for a work meeting via zoom. The staff are really friendly and helpful, it's well located for exploring the city or traveling to the airport (the hotel also organises transfers), and there's a great cafe/restaurant next door that has plenty of healthy food options, tasty burgers, and iced coffees/smoothies, etc.
I've stayed here twice now, once with my boyfriend and once alone, and both times we really enjoyed it. :)

Windhoek is the most beautiful , clean city with many lovely places to give you a taste and pleasant stay in Namibia. However, one bad experience such at poor customer service at Hilton Hotel can be a turn off for the rest of your stay. In fact you will forced to cut change for hotels if you came on a business trip and you could easily cut your holiday short.
There are many more hotels/places with good offer/value for money, better customer services and comfort stay. In my option, definitely not Hilton hotel. I booked out the next day and enjoyed the rest of my business trip in a cheapest hotel, good customer care in short small but might.

The people are very friendly and interesting to talk to. It is a big city with lots of interesting things to do and surrounding places to visit. It is very tourist friendly and has lots of divine places to eat. Jo's beerhouse is highly recommended.

Windhoek has a long colonial history, with interesting museums, galleries and landmarks. The natural history museum was my favourite.
The landmark German Lutheran Church, in the centre of town, is a wonderful place to visit.
It has too many restaurants to mention, but Joe's Beerhouse is the best. The variety of meats on offer, the atmosphere, the decor, absolutely everything is just so incredibly awesome! A MUST for any visitor to Windhoek.
One can easily get a cab, similar to Uber, called Lefa, which is extremely quick to respond and take you wherever you need to go.
Next time I would avoid being coaxed into taking a local taxi off the street, as the operators are mostly unreliable drivers and one can end up in dangerous areas such as the very poor locations.

Windhoek is a wonderful city, often regarded as one of the cleanest cities in Africa. The road infrastructure is user-friendly, and traffic is light, except during rush hours in the morning and afternoon.
Grove Mall provides many opportunities for great meals. We visited Rocco Mammas and Joe's Beer House, where the menus offer cost-effective and delicious options. If you prefer not to venture out, you can easily order traditional or international cuisine through a dial-a-meal app, which delivers freshly prepared meals to your doorstep.
In addition to shopping and entertainment, the mall offers a range of fitness activities. There is a Virgin Active gym just a stone's throw away, as well as excellent and safe running and cycling routes.
I just needed to stay in Windhoek for a night before leaving the country. It delivered exactly what I needed, a clean, EXTREMELY spacious room, even with a shower and separate bath! This is a pretty large lodge, so the food is edible but not exciting. I think the staff did make up for that, they were friendly and quick. Breakfast had a huge variety, and wifi worked. The shower was good and the bed cosy (as all beds in Namibia). The pool was very inviting (actually quite gorgeous) but I didn't swim due to time limitations.
I've stayed two times at Esperanca Guesthouse, at the beginning and at the end of my holiday and extended the stay there too. Best breakfast I had at Windhoek, the cleanest pool, lovely staff, safe parking spaces inside, cozy and clean rooms with own bathrooms. Let's say: perfect :)
It's not located in the city centre but there's a supermarket near (like a 2-3 minutes walk) and the taxi price from / to the airport is quite the same as if you'd stay in the city centre.
I can highly recommend Esperanca Guesthouse :)
This is a nice guesthouse in a quiet area of the Olympia neighborhood in Windhoek. It has nice and safe facilities and an outdoor area to view the sunset. The staff was very kind and prepared a highly appreciated pre-packaged breakfast in the evening when I had to leave very early the following morning. It is a nice place to stay, where one can be close to the city center without staying in the city center.
It‘s a very good option to stay in Windhoek. My room was nice quite with everything whati need. The rooftop with pool and bar is very nice. I used also the spa that offers good massages. The room sevices worked fine. The hotel stuff is very nice and make a great and professional job. They even come in the evening to ask if you need anything 🙂.
Everything was great! Staff were brilliant, friendly. Namibian hospitality at it's finest. Hostel is really chilled and relaxing despite being in central Windhoek. Only sad we only could spend one night here... The "love bird" room is amazing, really characterful while also giving you a bit of privacy. And for the price it's unbeatable!
The Avani Windhoek Hotel is in the centre of Windhoek, within short walking distance of Christuskirche and the Independence Memorial Museum. Large, comfortable, standard hotel room. The skybar was great for a drink, with fantastic views of Windhoek. The breakfast was stunning, with everything that you could possibly think of.
The Weinberg is by far the best hotel in Windhoek. The rooms are spacious, and very clean. They thought of everything when they furnished the rooms. The bathrooms are exceptional. There is nothing one can want for, at your stay at the Weinberg. Truly the only place to stay.
A very nice apartment and ideal for visiting the city of Windhoek. The apartment is very clean, comfortable and well equipped. The owner is very nice and made us very welcome. The apartment is in a tower block and the parking is secure under the tower block.
We stayed at Urban camp twice during our visit to Namibia.
Better than a lot of hotels.
Nice private tenets with comfortable beds. Clean bathrooms and showers and a pool and restaurant.
Staff is professional and friendly.
Will definitely stay here again.
This was a lovely hotel, great size room, very good location, the staff was helpful and the breakfast was great (we received a voucher for a cafe next door). We would 100% recommend this hotel and if we are back in Namibia, we will stay here again.
Small hotel in a pretty, quiet area of Windhoek. Short walk to the center. The restaurant is very good and also practical, as it avoids having to leave the hotel in the evening, for example. The staff are very friendly.
The hotel is situated in a quiet neighborhood and has a marvelous view over Windhoek. My room was spacious with a lounge and desk area - I could have easily stayed longer. Will definitely be back.
Good location in the city centre. Amazing view from the roof top terrace. Staff very friendly. The hotel is partially renovated, the building itself old, but in the end this doesn’t really matter
Overall the staff were great, it was a little hostel like vs hotel but met our needs. They said they were fully booked but it felt like we were the only ones staying there.
Very clean no-nonsense rooms, great breakfast, not far from petrol stations and grocery shopping (for those using Windhoek as a starting point for travel in Namibia).
