Great location, fancy style. A bit noisy but it didn’t really bother us.

Middle of a small town, but more there than expected. A number of restaurants and shops. Hotel restaurant and bar also good. Lots of character.

A nice vibrant hotel. There was an interesting mix of students that lived in part of the hotel long term and hotel guests. The table tennis tables were a nice addition. We were given a nice room that had a good view!
Flonk Hotel Groningen Centre, BW Signature Collection is located within walking distance from the lively centre of Groningen, Oosterpoort and Central Station.
Comfortable bed.
Downside breakfast poor, advised re allergies and fir gluten free for one of the party but unable to accommodate.
In many a hotel when requested milk in our own drinking cup so that we can give our daughter her medication, we have never been charged for such but not here, charged more than a litre would have cost at the shop. They didn't even have any equipment to clean.
Some of the butter was out of date, staff informed but not taken away.
Had dessert but quite expensive for what we got. Disappointed
Would avoid the hotel next time
Good secure parking. Easy check in. There was a separate entrance and lift that made it easier to get bags to the room. We had a refrigerator and coffee making facilities in the room which was appreciated. Breakfast was very good including a freshly made omelette. We used the restaurant for our evening meals. They were excellent and good value for money. The hotel was by the main road giving easy access to Groningen but the room was quiet. The staff were good and friendly giving a personal feel to the hotel.
On arrival we found out we got a free upgrade, got one of the nicest rooms in the hotel. This has been our third stay and we got an upgrade last time too. Lovely room, walk in shower and a bath. Buffet breakfast is lovely, plenty to choose from.
- I got a free room upgrade
- it was possible to do an early check-in
- very good parking situation (huge free of charge parking area around the hotel)
- very good breakfast
- friendly and helpful staff
Modern hotel with an extremely comfortable bed. Quiet, clean and pleasant. We forgot something there when we checked out and it was shipped to us, immediately when we reported it. Good service.
A quiet location, clean and well presented hotel.
Excellent access to Groningen and main routes.
Staff were very helpful and friendly.
Restaurant had a decent menu at reasonable prices
Clean and spacious rooms. Service was excellent: very friendly staff and the owner even drove us (party of six) to a nearby restaurant and back to the hotel.
