It was easy to find. The room was very pleasant and comfortable. The restaurant was very good and there was a very good choice for gluten free, with warm rolls available with dinner and at breakfast. Not a gluten free menu but meals were adapted where necessary.

A terrific conversion of an old armoury with stunning bedrooms and a stylish cafe and restaurant on the ground floor. The staff all spoke excellent English which made the stay every straightforward. Well located in the small town of Woerden which meant that a pre dinner stroll was possible.

Great location for Woerden. Reception team were brilliant and very helpful even though we couldn’t speak Dutch. Woerden is lovely
Oudewater is a delightful town and was a surprise to us.
Oudewater is a delightful town and was a surprise to us. It is full of interest and history especially for a small place. Of note are the Hakenwaag, where you can find out if you a a witch! the Rope museum is also worth visiting as you can learn about the historical source of wealth in the town. It has some splendid buildings in a compact area. The town has a good range of cafes and restaurants all seemingly popular. It also has a pleasant variety of shops. The market on Wednesday is a highlight.
The hotel is situated in the heart of the town of Oudewater, a delightful place. The hotel is smallish, but well appointed. The rooms are spacious and furnished appropriately especially if you enjoy designer chic. The beds are comfortable and the desk is of a good size for working at. Breakfast was adequate but choice was unimaginative. The restaurant is large, especially the light conservatory area. A limited dinner menu. The staff are friendly and helpful. It is a good base for the exploring the area. We used the good public transport links.
Great location in a cute town, easy to tour the surrounding area and close to the downtown historic center as well as a grocery store. Hotel had bikes and e-bikes for rent, which was an appreciated convenience. Good restaurant and wine selection, including decent half bottles, nice to split sitting in the hotel’s patio at the end of the day. Huge bathroom with good shower.
Charming hotel just few steps from the center of Oudewater. Very friendly personnel, clean and spacious room, great restaurant that we used for breakfast and dinner. Free parking spaces can be found few meters away, along the water.
Great location to explore the nearby Gouda and Utrecht. Thanks!
We found this hotel on the way to the Hague and that was a great find. Lovely town, lovely hotel, very friendly and helpful staff. This is one of the places that you plan the trip just to stop there again. They are also prepared to serve gluten-free breakfasts
Very cozy hotel, great beer suggestions from the barkeeper in the café. Also directly besides the small city center which definitely is worth a look. Easy access to the rooms through the night entrance from the hotel parking place.
Perfectly functional and very clean, but basic room. Breakfast was really good, there was enough parking on the street and behind the hotel, and I enjoyed walking around the town. There is also a small grocery store nearby.
I came to rest, be alone and enjoy the small town. The staff was great, the food was good, the room is nice, bed is great. Shower is amazing, towels are soft and the town is cute. A really good hotel, i loved it (twice now)
Lovely welcoming hotel, very clean and comfortable. Modern big room, delicious food in the restaurant and they were very accommodating with the dog. Top marks, will return!
Location is nice in the middle of the town Oudewater
Parking on street was available.
