NOT AS DESCRIBED ON THE WEBSITE, EXACT OPPOSITE, DIRTY, OLD, STINKY!
Liked · Unfortunately NOTHING AT ALL!
The only good thing was the receptionist had spoken English & tried to guide me to the property.
Disliked · I paid for the room online over the Booking.com. The pictures of the property on the website were neat & looked tidy!
But as i have arrived it was exact the opposite!
The receptionist had to guide me to the property on the phone as at the time major renovation was in progress & scaffolding were placed in front of the property, which made it difficult to locate.
The area where the hotel is based, looked rough, the carpets in the lobby were stinky & to finish the experience off, my room has been already sold to someone else, even though I have paid for it online!
I got a cash refund & went out upset, as i driven for 3 days & was desperate to rest & now I was left to look for a room to sleep, last minute prices & availability in a city late night are a challenge for a tired traveller!
Very Disappointing!
Queen size double bed, wonderfully comfortable. The room has floor-level safety lights that are activated by movement, which is comfortable to get up in the dark without fear of accident or having to disturb other people. The room has a microwave and water heater, making it easy to prepare a coffee or a drink. The hotel is less than 150 metres from the train station and bus stop, making it convenient for travel to Delf, The Hague, Rotterdam, or Amsterdam.
The check-in was smooth. The staff were helpful whenever I had a question or asked for assistance. The room was quite spacious. I paid just under 200 Euros for a three-night stay for two people. This was a better price per person per night than hostels in Den Haag or Rotterdam. It is very easy to get to Den Haag or Delft by train from Rijswijk. The hot water supply was good and the water pressure was good. The beds were comfortable enough.
It is a pretty cute and cool location with a small nearby shopping street incl. grocery store, pubs, and a couple restaurants. The apartment was very nice with natural light, full kitchen, plants, and lots of space. Felt more like being home than a hotel or B&B. Staff was very friendly and how to say : it was overall very private (no one really there).
The breakfast was really good. Fresh omelette and a lot of different cereals. The hotel is located very close to the highway without any noise impact. A large private parking area is available for free. Being a bit small but however, a small Fitness room is available too.
Location was good for our purpose. Many (free) parking spaces. Restaurant at hotel which we didn't use but good facility to have.
The room was clean/new. The lobby/hallways were bit more dated.
Beds are comfortable.
We liked how cozy the room feels. The bed is so comfy and wide🥰. The shower looks good and spacious with big mirror very much wants of the girls☺️💄. We enjoyed our Anniversary very relaxed and rested.
The staff are really nice and the room is clean and cozy. I liked that the location is quite suburban but still bus station is quite close so that we can use public transport. Nice getaway hotel
The generosity of the hotel and staff follow the history and tradition that this beautiful hotel is built upon. Loved the spa facilities included in the stay. What a treat!
You can walk to the shoppingcentre "de Boogaard" or take the tram in front of the hotel. The tram also stops at the train station Rijswijk and Den Haag central station.
The room was good with an open bathroom with semi transparent glass. It was located at a walkable distance from the train station. The room has a nice view outside.
