We did visit Warmond instead only 2 km from the hotel. Warmond is a very nice and small town with old renovated houses, lots of green and nice lake swimming fascilities. Beautiful area for walking and biking.

The accommodation is modern, clean, and private, with the added bonus of having driveway parking for our car. Our host, Bianca, was there to greet us when arrived, and provided us with enough food/drink for breakfast for the 4 nights we were staying there. Room and bed were real comfortable and great size. Also, it is close to where I lived as a child, so was great to visit old friends and family. It may not see,m like much, but the parking was free - and at €25 per day at most hotels in NL, that makes a difference.
