The property is in a beautiful semi-rural location and is near the walking tracks of the Hunua Range's forest and regional park. The house was cosy and warm and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast choice of cereals was good and the optional extra of having an evening meal proved excellent, with most of the delicious food, including dessert, grown on the property. Host Claire was friendly and was knowledgeable about local attractions.

I booked 4 rooms on behalf of a group. The rooms met our needs. One room however had an issue with ants. The property was able to resolve this and move the party affected. The location and food options nearby were good.

We love Rusty the friendly cuddly lab. We enjoyed the breakfast things… we didn’t expect that.
Far enough away from the road to be peaceful and lovely rural outlook.
