This is the perfect place to stay if you arrive in Maya and plan to get the boat to Malapascua the next day. The property is one minute from bus terminal and one minute from the pier. So convenient. Staff are super kind - they waited up late for me to arrive, and there was free coffee in the morning.

Peace and quiet, ideal to relax with loads of activities on offer if the relaxation part gets too much. The beach bungalows with their own pool permit total seclusion. We were afraid of the food on offer having read bad critiques, but were impressed by the choice, variety and quality of what we were served. Shout out to Mark, who pampered us and served us exquisite cocktails He and the kitchen staff surprised us night after night. Hello kitchen, your fish dishes, to die for! Not only is there nothing to complain but hats off to them for the delicious experience we had. Cuisine is top notch. Water Sports Centre, you guys are awesome, thank you for the boat excursion, we had you and the boat all to ourselves and you went out of your way to make sure we had everything we wanted, saw everything and snorkeled everywhere and had such a memorable experience. Thank you too for sharing the coconut harvest with us and finding the paddle blade I lost.
