Old townTarnow is a lovely place to explore on foot-- with it's beautiful churches, cobblestone streets and historical brick buildings. There are numerous cafes in which to sample authentic traditional polish cuisine and desserts. I recommend visiting this town!

Tarnow is a beautiful city with some beautiful buildings and lovely green spaces. There’s a lot to see in the area and beyond. It feels like you get a good taste for the real Poland and it’s a great place to stay – away from the more touristy places but also close to some major tourist sights as well.

Tarnów was a very nice city.
Tarnów was a very nice city. The people were extremely friendly and helpful. I had the best paczkie there and Polish food. The town was easy to walk. I also was able to research some family history while there.

Tarnów has a fascinating history and the centre is great for wandering around. You can see that it is being done up with some buildings newly renovated and painted and others in need of refurbishment. One day, it will be stunning. One day is probably enough unless you really want to delve into the history. There are plenty of museums if you want to stay longer.

Great city for walking and exploring the culture and history...
Great city for walking and exploring the culture and history of the area. Many places to shop. The Visitor's Center was very helpful for planning your day. The city has several museums at a very resonable cost. Many choices for ice cream, bakeries and restaurants. Depending of the time of year you will also encounter street fairs and vendors selling handmade items. A favorite activity was to sit outdoors at a restaurant/pub on the main square haing a latte or beer and people watch.
We had a very nice apartment with two rooms and a sitting area. Comfortable beds, very clean rooms with beautiful paintings. Our children liked it very much (close to us, spacious rooms). The breakfast was from the Card. I think it is very good, so we ordered things we wanted (was included in the fee). It is sustainable (no through away food). Very friendly personal (we got additional blankets and pillows). The location is great (on the main Market place)! Parking in the weekend was free.
Apartment was very tidy and cosy, very specious and well located as there was only few steps form Old Town and most of iconic places in Tarnow. Apartment itself had loads of items which really made me happy such as Netflix for chill evenings. Apartment is loaded with everything you need during stay as washing machine, hair dryer, UK adapter plug, very big fridge/freezer, plenty of cookware. Very happy about it.
Wonderful hotel next to the Tarnów Railway station and in walking proximity to the city centre. We stood there for two nights as a part of our bike-packing trip, and it was an enjoyable experience. The staff was friendly, rooms were clean and spacious, and breakfast provided a variety of local food, and they even provided a dedicated room to store our bikes!
Kantoria is a hotel, Kantoria is a campsite. A two-storey hotel with no lift, but a staircase you can climb. And a room with two beds on the slopes of the roof, in the purest attic style. At the reception: a smile and a willingness to help. The breakfast buffet is quite complete.
The welcome from the hosts, beautiful and spacious room, cleanliness and quality were all first class. The location is impeccable. I won't be staying anywhere else in Tarnow in future. My only concern is that too many good reviews will make it hard to get a room in future.
Clean spacious room, all newly decorated. Good food in restaurant, staff helpful although languages other than Polish limited. Check in quick and easy, spa nice addition to the stay.
Location - close to family living in the area and to Tarnów. The train station is not far if you plan to visit other cities like Krakow. The hosts are very charming and hospitable.
Super looots of space , very clean and friendly helpful landlord on site 😀
