I really enjoyed my short stay here. The staff are amazing. The location is great, right near the ocean, public pool, restaurants, bus stop & shopping mall with a huge supermarket. It’s about a 20 minute walk from Funchal centre. The room has a small kitchen which can be closed off with doors. I didn’t have a chance to use the pools, sauna or Turkish baths & prefer this location to Funchal city centre.

Although in the meantime the hotel is so well known & always fully booked, the staff is still amazing friendly & takes time for a small chat.
What I like most is the trust they bring towards the guests, no strict rules like pool opening hours & it‘s always quiet, people do not abuse it. Also the honesty bar where it is possible to take out in trust is great!
The hotel is of high quality but not new any more & for me it‘s sympathetic that it doesn’t shine & glance in luxury, it‘s still familiar, beautiful garden & peace.

The hotel stands on the cliff on it's own beach, isn't it already something!! Sweeping views of the ocean, sound of crushing waves, delightful room and common areas. There is also a parking, so with a car it's so easy to access..
