The manager arranged an excellent evening meal with a local person when I asked about restaurants (there are none)

We selected this hotel primarily for the thermal bath, but it showed to be an excellent, quiet stay with a large room, comfy beds, spcious bathroom, very good breakfast and dinner, and nice personnel !
We will definitely come back to experience this once more.

It was so awesome spending the night in the stone cottage. Rright next to the castle. Breakfast was awesome ... Loved the crepes. Very clean. Highly recommend this stay.

Facilities (room, swimming pool) are great and clean. The cleaning lady who also serves breakfast does a superb job (although the breakfast she is required to serve by the centre is paid extra at €8,00 and overpriced, better bring your own). Manageress/reception unavailable during most of the day and not overly helpful. Apart from the breakfast there is no restaurant or bar for other meals and drinks during the day (there's a microwave in the room and we bought our own food and drinks in Intermarché in Figueira de Castelo Rodrigo, at 20kms)
