A small but buzzing little town.
A small but buzzing little town. It’s very traditionally portugeuse but also happens to be the centre of a decent sized scattering of international immigrants who have set up off grid communities in the hills around: this gives the village a real sense of life and energy. But it’s still super relaxed and just beautiful and peaceful. So much to do in the area as well

Very friendly hosts who have been extremely helpful throughout. Excellent tasty breakfast. Coja is a lovely little village, pleasantly loclated at the river Alva, perfect for hiking in the area, and with an excellent restaurant nearby.
