Beautiful pool area. Lovely rooms and balcony. We moved from marina sun to marina beach and glad we did as there would be a longer walk from there to the beach area. The beds were super comfortable. Really interesting incentive to reduce the amount of housekeeping. If you don’t need housekeeping some of the days of your stay you get a free drink. Breakfast was possibly the best brekkie I’ve ever had in a hotel. Super close to the beach and the main road in Praia da rocha ( bar the hills and steps) and super close to the beach club.
They also provided us with a cot for our baby.

Loved the free Spa for guests - 1 hour in the morning and 1 hour in the afternoon. Excellent.
Estombar is very centric in the Algarve regions. We were able to stay there and visit neighboring towns. Found great restaurants and friendly service. Restaurante Onda in Lagoa was great. Amazing food and service. Same area had other tapas type restaurants. Benagil is a most if you are in the area. Surfing was packed in the neighboring towns, sow we ended up about 45 min west in Capateira and it was the best.

This wine estate is something from a movie.
This wine estate is something from a movie. The children loved the pool and the setting and it exceeded all our expectations. We booked it predominantly for access to slide and splash as we had no hire car. It is easily walking distance to slide and splash and great to have the air con in the villa after a day in the sun. The pool was quiet and had amazing views, as did the balcony in the apartment. Take food though and cook. There are no major shops nearby and no decent restaurants. Cooking was easy with the facilities in the kitchen and it was lovely to eat in the villa then sit on the balcony and watch the sun set with a glass of wine. The wine at the vineyard is available to buy and ranges from 5 euros up. Definitely worth purchasing wine to enjoy on the balcony. We did enjoy our stay at the vineyard and it will be a memory to talk about for years in our family.
