Arrived in Pombal to attend a friends wedding.
Arrived in Pombal to attend a friends wedding. Called the hotel from the train station and Ana came to get us. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the staff.She was very pleasant, friendly, and accommodating. Its very clean . The main square is walking distance. The breakfast was excellent. Everything is provided that you'd have in a nice home, and the very likable hosts are next door and ready to help as needed. A 10 minute walk away, there's a new board walk along the Arunca river, and you can walk along the river right into Pombal if you have the time. We stayed for more than a week, and were sorry we had to leave.DonnUnited States

Many places to eat locally, opposite the main church in Pombal. Check in/out was easy and quick, Bedroom has electric shutters, these assisted in a very dark bedroom and a great nights sleep.
