The location is relatively central, the WiFi was working well, the room was very spacious, and the breakfast was well-assorted, with good coffee. The Belle Epoque is somewhat like a theme hotel: it was a theater in earlier times, and much decor and equipment carrying over from that former period is affectionately preserved and exhibited. For a place like Petrosani the Belle Epoque offers fairly tasteful and advanced accommodation.

The hotel was fully booked, we found the last room available at very short notice. The restaurant was serving food even quite late in the evening. Very nice surroundings and very close to Sarmisegetuza site!
