Pranburi is a quiet beach town.
Pranburi is a quiet beach town. It has one part which is slightly busier along the Dolphin Bay Hotel area, with more restaurant options, shops and a nicer beach, but not overwhelming. The other part is quieter and still developing but has some very nice resorts. It is impossible not relax. Lots of beach space for kids to play.

Pran Buri, is the town.
Pran Buri, is the town. The beach front area is known as 'Pak Nam Pran'. Quieter and more relaxed than Hua-Hin and Cha-Am, it's both a bit further from Bangkok and slightly better value. There are not the same range of restaurants, bars or other tourists facilities as the previously mentioned resort areas, but there is good food to be had, and some decent resorts.

We booked for 3 days to be near Kuri Buri national park to go on elephant safari which was amazing! Not sure I would want to holiday there for long period. The locals need to clean up the beach from rubbish, as it could be really beautiful.

In the backyard of the villa, there was a sandy beach with palm trees and no tourists around. With not so many people it felt almost like a private experience. Waking up to the sound of ocean and birds. <3 Everyone we met was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great, as well as lunch and dinner options. Nice drinks available and the infinity pool was very nice and relaxing too. Not to mention the pool at our villa - perfect relaxation. We will be back.SallaFinland
