We stayed at the Tropicana, and was highly impressed with them, & Borgata was EXCELLENT, but we went there our last day, and only had about three hours to spend. Late night food options were poor, everywhere we went. We had a sub at Tropicana the 1st night, and it wasn't very good. The workers at the late night venues, had a very hard time communicating, and understanding ENGLISH requests. The Food we did have seemed to be rather expensive for what it was. We ate at Chickies & Petes at Trop. & the Buffet at HARDROCK! We were one of the first guests into the buffet, and yet the Roast Beef was ALREADY prepared WELL DONE, there was no Rare, or Medium Options. It was $40 pp, and options were not incredible, just our own personal opinion, I guess. Hardrock also had DRINKS in glass glasses, and they were regular sized. (Not just a lil' plastic sample size). The Boardwalk was very nice, although we wished the weather was a bit warmer that was our fault for going in March. We did read online, however, that the TRAM would probably be up and running on the Boardwalk and it wasn't. The JITNEY was a great option at $2.50 pp going from Tropicana to Harrahs, and then again from Harrahs to the Borgata. Our cab driver to the airport, was Wonderful, and it was cheaper than we had expected. Will def. visit again in AC.

ATLANTIC CITY IS GOOD IF YOU STAY IN YOUR HOTEL SO I ADVISE YOU STAY IN A HOTEL THAT HAS EVERYTHING THERE, THE STREETS OF ATLANTIC CITY ARE OVERWELMED WITH HOMELESS, WE SAW MANY DRUG USERS STUMBLING AROUND, LOTS OF TRASH ALONG THE BOARDWALK, THE CITY NEEDS A GOOD BATH. THERE ARE THE TANGLER OUTLETS , THEY ARE NICE, BUT I SUGGEST ONLY GOING IN THE MORNING

I like most of the things during my stay except for few things.
There was no refrigerator, no microwave, no water bottles when checked in.
The linens and sheets were very hard and crispy which made our sleep uncomfortable

A city of dilapidated buildings and derelicts roaming the streets like zombies. And don't get me started on the bums. Only come if you have a very specific reason to be here and leave as soon as you can.
The room had the most incredible view of the Atlantic City skyline, boardwalk, beach and ocean. We could even open a window to listen to the ocean lull us to sleep. The owner of this suite, keeps the unit meticulously clean and decorated it with with an eye to functionality and simplicity - using only the best appliances, fabrics etc. It's a one-of-a-kind unit, that is perfect for a couple to enjoy all that Atlantic City has to offer. I've stayed in Atlantic City's boardwalk casino/hotels and this has every one of them beat.
The location was a perfect distance to travel To the casinos 🎰 . The room had appliances that came in handy , access to watch tv.. this hotel had restaurant accessible to nearby locations where there were choices for availability to dine . Very clean , and customer great service . Booking Price for a night stay was reasonable & affordable . I felt comfortable in this hotel. I will definitely consider to book another overnight stay here at the Sheraton in the near future.
We had never been to Atlantic City before so we had no idea what to expect. We wanted to be near the ocean, have access to a pool, and be within walking distance to casinos. The Showboat checked all of those boxes. Not only a great location, but this properly was one of the few that was within our price range. We were a little nervous with how affordable it was, but were pleasantly surprised to see how clean the rooms were and the in-hotel amenities.
Because I was going to the after Dark Harrah's pool party, I suggest staying at the Waterfront tower rooms 25-50. This way you get a really nice room for cheap and you are 20 feet away from the pool. You are also next to Starbucks, pizza, and guys sandwiches. Remember to park on level 2, the casino level to be on the casino, hotel reception & rooms. Check out kiosks are great. King room was super spacious.
Typical large casino hotel.very friendly staff. Newly renovated rooms are very nice big clean and modern areas..great value and impossible to fault .food is good in both quality and value in the onsite bar.the keg I think it's called.at time of writing the hote6iz undergoing a 90 million dollar refurb so they are fighting to get the customers back.the way they are going they will.
My stay was great as usual. My spouse and I visit Atlantic city often and we always do something at this location. The restaurants and the nightlife are absolutely amazing!!! I do have to say that the beds are not the most comfortable to lounge in or to stay in bed all day. The room and the hotel are altogether very clean. I will continue to return and enjoy this location.
Clean and big room, a 10 minute Uber drive from the broadwalk and away from the other hotels but great location and by far the best hotel! Very clean! Casino floor was busy all weekend and a great atmosphere. Lots of choices for food in the hotel, don’t have to leave the hotel everything is right there!
The location was phenomenal. Best thing about the hotel.
The rest:
Hotel rundown, in dire need of renovation.
Did not really feel safe when on non-beach side of building
Frankly, I was sorry I chose this place for my first visit to Atlantic City!
The owner and the staff were very polite and friendly. The room was very very clean. The pool was great. The hotel is very close to the boardwalk.I definitely recommend you to stay at this hotel.
Great and big room. Big bed which was heaven to sleep in. The hotel is very nice and clean. It's great to see all the memorabilia of great artists all over the hotel and casino!
