We loved the view from our room and the pool and hot tub are so refreshing and also have such great views from the windows around the pool the water temperature was just right. And also the lobby staff giftshop and little socialization area with fireplace big screen tv. And continental style food options are a nice option since there are no restaurants in the hotel. We wish there was a restaurant and a shuttle service to downtown from the hotel.and back. So people could relax and not worry about driving while on vacation. Still the staff and guests were very joyful and kind. And our accusations were comfortable and relaxing with awesome views! I will recommend priceline and fireside inn and suites to all my family and friends!

nice little city from maine with nice walk in front of the lake nice fort nice bridge boats and close enough to acadia national park to go there daily but pay not inflationed prices in local shops, supermarket etc very different from if you try to do it from inside the park or bar harbor area which is much more expensive and less genuine in terms of what is like to live in Maine

Great location for trips.
Great location for trips. Approximately one hour to Acadia/Bar Harbor. Just across the river from the fort and a 42 foot elevator ride to an observation area at top of the bridge. Just up the rtoad on Hwy. 46 a comfortable lobster shack.

Bucksport is only a hop away from some very nice areas, staying in Bucksport is nice because it allows you to get out of the hype of everything, but still close enough to drive back and forth. Fort Knox was awesome though and well worth checking out, as well as the tower.

We'd stayed there before to explore the Blue Hill Peninsula and travel up to Machias. Not much there for us except centrally located for our trip. There were a few restaurants downtown we tried one last time and it was so so. The Dunkin Donuts closed at 8 on Saturday night.... what?

Bucksport is sleepy little town with too few restaurants.
Bucksport is sleepy little town with too few restaurants. There is a beautiful bay, with a view of historic Fort Knox across the water. Along Hwy. 1 going north, there are B&B's and lots of flea markets, swap meets and antique shops. Within half an hour or less of Belfast and Searsport, less than an hour to Ellsworth for shopping.
Owners in the store. Makes a huge difference. Great value, very clean, everything I needed. And it was so quiet I overslept.
I have run a restaurant nearby for over 40 years. I have always referred customers to the Bucksport Motor Inn based mainly on glowing reviews from past customers at the inn. I needed a room myself overnight to escape construction at my house. So glad I got the chance to see for myself. Look forward to sending many more customers their way. Highly recommended!
Loved the view out the window at the river and the bridge. It changed all the time. If there was a veranda/patio for our room it would perfect. Loved the river walk just below the hotel. Well done.
Staff could not be nicer. Felt like part of the family.
Good WiFi and TV. Easy to visit other places nearby and Acadia.
Very friendly and helpful staff throughout our stay. Great location overlooking the river, Fort Knox, and the Penobscot Narrows Bridge (very pretty lit up at night). Easy access to the attractive walking path running along the riverfront. Nice sized mini-fridge and microwave oven. All areas of the room were very clean!
Comfortable beds, mini fridge was good size, microwave, staff provided eating utensils, outdoor seating by door and picnic table were nice, very clean, window screen so we could get fresh air , good location on main street of town and near riverwalk
Wonderful location walking distance from the main street in Bucksport. Kitchen had all the necessary utensils & appliance. It was very convenient to have laundry. Comfortable beds, nice living area and space for the kiddos to spread out.
Great view of the river, despite all the fog and rain. Very quiet and peaceful. And, the "river-walkway" just behind the hotel. Love the location to the restaurant right across the street!
This is an excellent place to stay. The rooms were exceptional and the owners very friendly. Conveniently located on highway but very quiet. We loved this place. Better than most chain motels.
Perfect spot for exploring multiple areas of Maine. Wonderful young women working the front desk! Super clean rooms! Easy walk to grocery store and to downtown for restaurants.
Realy nice place with very friendly Personal. Rooms were comfortable and very clean. I can recommand the Bucksport Inn for all kind of travelers. Keep going.
